Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and please do not pay attention to the negative remarks about being married. I was married for forty-seven years before cancer took my bride away from me. We were together 55 years and I never regretted being married one second and I mean that never ever even once. I'll give you a piece of advice that my mother-in-law gave us when we told her that we were getting married. She said learn how to fight, Fight nice. Do not say things that you cannot take back later because cutting remarks last forever. We had many arguments over the years but none lasted more than a few hours at most. Good luck and be safe, take care of that pretty lady you both deserve to be happy .

First of all Congratulations on the wedding, she is a special person. It's so fun to watch you do your thing and connect to the area my family is from. Jimmy's Famous, Mountain Road traffic issues, Tiki Lee's shirt, Harris's Crab House, and the Dena. I am sure you have been in Angels a time or two. AJ works hard like my oldest son, he loves being out on the water too and around boats any chance he can get. Maybe one day that trailer will get some new bearings and some real permanent taillights. Maybe.

I used to put a couple of teaspoons of ground black pepper in the radiator to plug up a small leak. If it doesn't work I guess you at least have soup!

I’m new to your channel but your real and humorous attitude and work drive like an old timer you should be well proud of yourself, and think the fact your willing to alter your yearly goals to make your bride have a special extra time with you is commendable, i went to work after my wedding I know how hard self employment can be my wife understands I’m passionate about work and giving us a good life that’s a regret for me but I never get grief for it still owe her a honeymoon 3 years on
Keep cracking on your a great influence to young men
Hey Luke throw some 2x4’s in at a 45° angle on all 4 corners of your trap trailer and it’ll give to a ton of extra structural integrity. So 6 extra boards since the back end is open. Also a cheap coat of paint will add years of extra life to them.

Have you ever thought of putting your crab pots on pallets that way you can load and unload them with a machine that has forks? Then when you unload them in your yard, you can move a bunch of time. Just an idea to save you some time.

Just put an orange triangle sign on the back of the trailer and call it a farm trailer. Then you’ll only be able to drive it 35mph but you won’t have to worry about tail lights

Funny how we were both rewiring trailers this week!
Tinnitus. Earsplugs. Or earplug in case anyone falls into water.
Typically lights on a trailer don't work because of two reasons: 1) Bad Ground 2) Lights are full of water.
First thing to do is take a wire brush and clean all of the grease and gunk of the hitch ball. Then, using a decreaser, spray down the entire ball. Take a clean rag and wipe the ball down until it is completely grease free.
Next thoroughly spray your degreaser into the receiver on the trailer. Wipe all of the grease and road grime off of the parts the receiver that make contact with the ball. Use another rag to thoroughly dry all of those receiving parts that hold the ball in place and make sure they are clean and grease free.
NEVER, EVER, put any lubricant on ball, or receiver parts because the lubricant will interfere with hitch ball and the receiver making a good ground connection making a good ground connection to the trailer.
For the lights, go buy a new break light/taillight. They are cheap compared to a ticket. Find an electrical guy that will trade some electrical installation for some nice crabs. Bartering for services can save you thousand in cash.
I hope it all works out. If all else fails, only pull the trailer in the daylight. You are sure to get a ticket at night. Its like begging for a ticket driving the trailer at night. Common sense man!

Why don't you mount the lights on a board you clip onto any trailer take off when launching so they don't get wet. I put the license plate on it too.
