Let me give everyone the run down, without even watching his full video: Apple Airpod Pro 2 has a chip which provides enhanced features for sound quality and modification. However, this means pretty little for actual fidelity. Sony and Bose have been behind apple at the time of each Airpod release, but they also have been behind in the high fidelity earbud market for ages particularly bose as people are beginning to care far more about fidelity since many manufacturers are getting better at noise cancelling. Tons of earbuds are leagues ahead of apple in all but certain quality of life features. Frankly, unless you are deadset on keeping with airpods the Airpods Pro 2 are not going offer anything to convince you to switch; chip or not.
Nothing except for things related to audio quality is true. Sony decided to allocate resources into other departments as popularity and sale of earbuds have been on decline. Most people once they buy high end earbuds keep them for quite a while. Apple stock is down by over 36% YTD, because most tech companies had their stocks overvalued during the silicon shortage (look at Nvidia, AMD, Intel or any big tech company stocks for that matter) (also might be an early sign of economic crysis). Bose sounds better and I've used them for years but they don't have vents and hurt your ears/head after a while. It's not worth it to have superb sound quality and bass on earbuds, save that for headphones and speakers IMO.

Apparently many have the same issue. I had an issue with one of them squealing but it came and went. Now they are brickef. Think I will buy Bose or Jabra next time . Sennheiser are expensive but not worth the hassle.

Not really. I think their first really decent headphone was the hd580 precision from 1993 followed by the famous hd600 and hd650 in 1997 and 2003 respectively. They also made some pretty high end electrostat headphones back in the 90s. The Orpheus and the he60. They followed it up with the HE1 in 2015 which is arguably the best and most expensive headphone ever made.
Cabled headphones are always gonna be better than wireless ones, but they are also much more expensive, way less portable compared to wireless and you also need to buy a DAC to run them. Wired headphones are so much better but they can’t beat the speed and efficiency of wireless ones

That tends to actually be false. Most of the ones I've tried in that range are worse than my buds, from audio quality to portability. Looking more around the 30 range then maybe, haven't used many of those.
Not really if you don’t know what you’re looking for you’ll likely get garbage for $10-20. The are some Chinese iems around $20 like the truthear holas, 7hz Salnotes zero or the Moondrop chu that would definitely beat the AirPods sound wise. But the AirPods Pro 2 are pretty much the second best sounding wireless iem after the Galaxy buds pro 2.
I agree with you. But my amp is on the other side of the room and trailing a cable across the floor is inconvenient and potentially dangerous. Therefore my corded headphones largely go unused. I’m looking to replace them with the wireless equivalent.

If you want good sounding stuff, go wired earbuds, or wired/wireless headphones. Nonetheless I love my AirPods Pro 2. They sound way better than my galaxy buds +, and the noise cancelling and transparency is really nice. Spatial audio is BS and I will never use it though.

Pros 2 are the single best headphones I've ever used in terms of their features. The sound quality, comfort, noise canceling both in my ear and with voice, and passthrough mode are amazing. If you're buying these for DEEM BASS you bougut the wrong set. I loveeeee these headphones and they are constantly on 50% off sales. They have a pretty balanced sound profile.
Bose is used by American military for its exceptional sound clarity & noise cancellation feature. Apple is slowly makes huge progress in both software and the hardware, that makes it difficult for competitors to compete against them!!!!

Its fairly common for the battery health to go down after an update.. usually an update re calibrates the battery and the true battery health appears..

I am a Samsung guy, I own an Iphone too and I almost never use my airpods, some people are just Bose only, others are Sony only, is personal preference, I do own Sony, JBL, Skullcandy and Sennheiser too, my airpods pro are just eating dust in a corner of a furniture.

I agree with you. But my amp is on the other side of the room and trailing a cable across the floor is inconvenient and potentially dangerous. Therefore my corded headphones largely go unused. I’m looking to replace them with the wireless equivalent.
That was true like 3 years ago but wireless has massively leaped in a short amount of time.
@@Sci-Mon1yes but wireless is still about convinence rather than quality... airpods dont compare well to akg k240... or the 32 ohm byerdynamic dt 990... all of which can still be found cheaper than airpods and are still very high end studio level headphones...
I broke more than 20 earphones in the past 5 years. I first got the wireless ear buds 4 years ago never brake or lost them ever since

The pros 2 definitely can. They’re way better than the previous model. Plus Bose is just decent clarity with bass boost.

Apple creates airpods to work just fine with their ecosystem, good micro , clean audio for calls . But for music have a lot better in the market.

Yea you can do that but iems arent good for things like the gym these are more everyday wear i have my own set of iems and only use them at home with a dac when im on the go everyday use im using my galaxy buds2 pro because its convenient

If you want good sounding stuff, go wired earbuds, or wired/wireless headphones. Nonetheless I love my AirPods Pro 2. They sound way better than my galaxy buds +, and the noise cancelling and transparency is really nice. Spatial audio is BS and I will never use it though.
of course you can, and they will have better microphones. Honestly though i’m not aware of any earphones that have a good transparency mode as the airpods, which to me is a extremely essential feature

Tried many and even though Airpods don't have sound comparison to many audio brands, It never hurts my ear, feels light and ease of use and accessibility is phenomenal and cant be matched

Pros 2 are the single best headphones I've ever used in terms of their features.
The sound quality, comfort, noise canceling both in my ear and with voice, and passthrough mode are amazing.
If you're buying these for DEEM BASS you bougut the wrong set.

do a hard reset on your phone. Volume button up once, Volume button down once, hold the power button till u see the apple logo. Let go and that should fix it. Hope this helps :)

That’s usually the best bet. There have been issues with the iOS 16 rollout.
Its fairly common for the battery health to go down after an update.. usually an update re calibrates the battery and the true battery health appears..

I am a Samsung guy, I own an Iphone too and I almost never use my airpods, some people are just Bose only, others are Sony only, is personal preference, I do own Sony, JBL, Skullcandy and Sennheiser too, my airpods pro are just eating dust in a corner of a furniture.

The B&O EX sound better but I will say the EQ active noise cancellation is slightly better IMO
@@Leondap2024 i very much prefer the design and form factor on the EQs, that’s enough for me. The Airpods did have even better ANC but the sound quality is on a different level
