I highly recommend using a spiral notebook for junk journaling because it will thicken significantly as you add more junk. My junk journal has a big spiral and a couple of my pages are still on the brink of falling out cuz I went 2 fast 2 furious with adding junk to each page
I love new stationary! I wore headphones while watching this and your voice paired with all the paper and pen sounds made for a really pleasant ASMR experience lol it was very relaxing

Considering your aesthetic and personal style, you strike me as someone who would really make a wonderful traveller notebook. I have three inserts in mine, one is a diary, one is a commonplace book, and the last one is a junk journal. Also, great choice on Yoseka-- I love their stuff and JetPens is great too for Japanese stationary products.
after two years of aggressive notion use, I have recommitted to analog and the experience of the physical. I’m getting back into using my journal for many more purposes and I am on the brink of doing a stationary haul my self! all to say this was insightful 🙏
i relate to this vid. thanks for putting it up. i’m on maybe my fifth A5 gridded Midori. i have favorite pens and things too. one is Gellyroll in Bordeaux because i like the ink color and they are pretty cheap. i think the small stuff helps with the big stuff. anyways, whole thing was delightful.
