    Its shot in the day for demo purposes, im sure there would be more contrast when watching at night with all the lights off. Also, its not a dedicated home theatre, its a wife/ family compromise living area.

      Exactly. Calibration and other improvements have been made since this was shot. Curtains are up to block out as much light as possible. For a living room setup, I couldn’t be happier.

      I don't get people, it's common sense! I was watching another RUclipsr that had to explain why his LED lights were on, simple really... “If they weren't on, you wouldn't be able to see my face or my equipment as I'm trying to demo it to the audience! But of course, they're off when I'm watching a movie" - Idiots!

    why doesn't the projector automatically hide (turn off) the black bars above and below?

    • @scotttild
      @scotttild 4 месяца назад

      Because movies are shot in widescreen 2:31 format and that is 16:9 format. You need a scope screen if you want the black bars to go away.

    Du solltest das Bild mal an die Leinwandgröße anpassen. Der Lens-shoft und die Lens-Memor Funktion helfen dir bei einer 21:9 Leinwand alle Formate abzuspeichern.

      Since this video was shot, I moved the projector further back, and now it fills the screen perfectly. This video was taken very early on and just as a quick demo

    There's a serious lack of contrast, and even with an LS11000 you should be able to do better.
