thats the line lock on the steering wheel most likely the burnout chip and line lock are wired into the same button. It bounces off the high side rev chip on the line, no need for a second button for starting line rpm control.
I watched a couple interviews with him he seems a little on the cocky side he doesn’t like the Bartons and him and a couple other racers kind of holding against people for just being able to go out and buy everything they need and just drive the car. Not everybody has the ability to bill parts from scratch like they do probably the majority of super stock guys don’t have his ability so don’t hold it against somebody because they have the money to go out And buy whatever they need
I have nothing against this video except the lack of required safety equipment. One of these days it is going to bite you for not wearing the -5 pants, gloves, neck collar or R3 HANS, or shoes.
That's definitely wicked, but the whole "no gloves," "no neck collar" "no pants," "incorrect jacket" and "no shoes" thing is pretty disappointing. Obviously, a ton of money in a very fast car, and minimal investment on personal safety in it. Sigh.
LOVE 4 speed Stick Trans.Like the old days when I was into racing.
The vertical gated Lenco 4 speed is absolute beauty. Never seen that before and 4 gear burnout like none of the other 3 gears existed lol. Mopar ftw

It practically drives itself. Hold button, click click. It isn't like the old days when I had to do that with a clutch and shift that fast.
it was still pulling when it crossed. I bet it has some left in the tank. Probably not worth trying to get it as hard as it runs.
@RICH970 I was wondering that myself. He wasn't using the clutch when shifting. So it has to be a Lenco or some type of G-Force transmission.
freakin sick! this is my fav racing vid of a superstock hemi on here! best ever!! clutchless shifting!!
Sweet ride! Awesome quick 1/4 mile! Thanks for posting!
A lot of super stock guys think the safety rules dont apply. Not sure why NHRA over looks it.
Absolutely brutal
Toughest guy to beat in SS/AH competition
