Had a GTI previously, just got 8.5 GTE... great on fuel but GTI was much more fun. I miss the fake exhaust noises 😭 but GTE has its good points. Definitely enjoying the electric range especially when you get to charge it for free 😄

I have the Mark 8 GTE. The Mark 8 is already brilliant, cheap to run, quiet around town and quick when needed, but for me the bigger battery and the fast charging option in the 8.5 are game changers. I can't see me going to the petrol station more than twice a year!

I like the tech in the GTE. I like that VW improved the battery capacity and now you can benefit from faster charging as well. I am an owner of GTE 8 and I would say it is amazing car I enjoy it every day. I drive it mostly in electric and it performs very well, but if I need to buy it again I will think twice before buying it 😂😂😂 quite expensive 😂
Thanks for the video by the way! 👌

no idea what VW are thinking with this - options are meant to increase with price not reduce - this is the tipping point for me not upgrading my GTE 7.5 .... considering other manufacturers now

Måste fråga, är det inte likadana paddlar mellan alla Golfs modeller? Eller det är bytt sen MK8? 😊
