What varieties do you grow. The fruit look very uniform and pretty. I’m in the US, in Florida. I have 15 trees but I did not prune so they are just growing tall and very few fruits.
The Tatura V Trellising was heavily promoted for cyclone resilience at the time we were planting up our farm. We went with the recommendations from others and installed it for our trees. Turns out it actually has many disadvantages, which we go through in another video, and very little research or trials had been done with regards to its use with tropical fruit trees. (and yes, it is always in the way! 🙄 🤦♀️) We are now slowly removing the Trellising and opting to grow the trees free-standing, keeping them low and pruned well for cyclone resilience and easy management. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! ☺️
Great Efforts
Thanks Prem 😊
Good work 🎉

Our trees are an orange crispy variety we selected after planting a lot of trees, the selection criteria being, colour, taste, and low latex.
What's the purpose of the trellis which always seems to be in the way

@@meadowcroftfarmqld8577 Sounds very much like some slick salesman talked you into it
A lot of people were talked into it and now a lot of people are regretting it.
Do you eat or do anything with the seeds?
Not really, as we send the fruit away whole.
@meadowcroftfarmqld8577 When you consume one you chuck the seeds as well? I've been told they can be quite good if prepared right.
@Blackdog1811 if we open one we use the seeds to grow root stock.
whats the distance of each tree?
Our are 4.5 mtrs apart and are kept to no more than 4 mtrs high
