Great! My cousins (5 and 6 years old) really like Bad Robot but it is not really a character and has no story line. I am really glad you made this and they really enjoyed it. It gives them something more than just the intro to Lost - lol. Great work on the animation and sound. It looks very well polished!

I was going to make a negative comment relating to the fact that Breaking Bad is not referenced in any way by this film's story, but this was actually pretty good.
The Bad Robot was broken up by someone long ago, before Wall-E puts it back together. Then he dismantles it at the end, that's the "breaking" part. It was only a play on the name of the TV show.
Since it's almost been 10 years since you joined and almost 10 years since WALL-E was released in theaters, are you planning to remake or remaster some animations?
No, I don't, I'm afraid. This took about five months of modeling and animating, but the first month was just spent testing simulations and other new features of Lightwave, like Instancing. I used that feature to create a factory full of robots as well as to place tin cans and other debris all over the junk piles. Instancing is very powerful but it takes some serious testing to get the results you want. The same for physical simulations.

Great concept but a bit jerky. I guess that came from the tech you were using 5 years ago. Have you ever thought of going back and resetting these shorts using contemporary soft/hard ware?

Bad Reboot gets what it deserves.
Bad robot is a mascot. Since it doesn't have any backstory, we can use it to create our own stories for it. I like that thing
