Very rare, you lucky man H, I have been very blessed to have driven both 959 and 993 turbo S, albeit with an anxious owner by my side and not being allowed to take the 959 above 4500 rpm. I loved the turbo S personally. I’d love the chance to drive the GT2. My daily drive is an highly modified 996 turbo S, remapped and with exhaust, intake mods. I love it, especially when I have the occasional blast, against a more modern super car, the look on their faces is just a joy. A great project Harry. I recommend the proper front uprights, the monoball top mounts and solid bushes in the rear suspension cage all of which will be transformational. Have to say i've heard some dreadful stories about Hexagon, specfically in relation to used 993's but hopefully you did your homework and had it fully checked over. The rust on the rear chassis legs (unpainted at the factory) and the windscreen rust are the killer on these. Incidentally, I met you at Evo a few years ago and we got chatting about 993's as I'd just driven up in mine (which is now a nut and bolt RS Clubsport recreation). Anyway love the videos, great work.

That thing is absolutely gorgeous.. The 993 GT2 is one of the best looking Porsche's ever imo, it can pull off a massive wing and bolted on fenders and still look classy. (unlike pretty much all other cars which have that.. *cough Liberty walk cough*) Can't wait to see it finished!

that wing, color and wheels, its a dream car you got there.. amazing. I remember driving these on "Need for speed Porsche" :D I remember lifting off the throttle in the mid corner does some nasty things, but if managed well it just turns with amazing grip.
What a stunning car! 993 is one of my utmost favorite. I have a 997.2 RS, couldn't find any other car drive like it. I like her more than the Ferrari F430.

Someone paid a fortune for a 911 Turbo, then spent another fortune on it's modifications, then lost their shirt when they sold it. A good deal for you though. I think it looks glorious, a very serious looking machine. Then that sound! Delicious! I give it two thumbs way way up.

Thats S&N in Aachen who worked on the Car Harry. The first invoice for 11900 is just a deposit on work to be done. the Auftragsnummer on the Invoice is the purchase order number and that should be enough for them to tell you what was done to the car. They are legally required to keep all invoices etc for at leat 5 years so they should still have it all there.
Harry, great car with a uniques history. The fact that it is modified just makes a more of a thrill to own. Be sure to show us the finished product when done.
Love this car and can't wait to see the updates. I have a guards red 964RS recreation which is similar in concept to Jackals 993 and this GT2, i.e. not just cup wheels and lowered suspension... Anyway, contact Mark at Specialised Windscreens who makes the rear RS/GT spec non-wiper hole rear screens but retaining the heater element with the modern fine elements which are almost invisible - perfect for the UK!
