Cobra is Paultons Park's biggest and fastest roller coaster. Ideal for kids and a good "+1" cred for coaster enthusiasts.
Gerstlauer built just two coasters in 2006. This is one of them, can you name the other? Clue: It's in the UK.
Paultons Park is located near Romsey, in Hampshire, England.

It's actually way faster than it looks
Yeh I ve been there 2 times and went on all the rides

I went on it 6 times a day

This is one of the best rides in the park, went on it 4 times in a row today (ride attendant allowed us to stay on as the park was deserted lol) , video does not really give a feel for how good the ride actually is though, and it is a lot more intense than someone who has not actually been on it might think it is
This is actually a really fun and lively roller coaster .. the reason it looks so boring is because:
1.they are using a go pro to film it
2.they filmed it when the park was closing so not many people were around
3.the music wasn’t playing
4.the weather was rubbish
That’s why it looks so dull and boring
Ruby Vale I’ve rode it and personally it’s very boring, I know it’s a place for younger audience but I’d never visit again and I’d rather spend the day at Alton Towers or Thorpe Park where I know I’ll get good and thrilling ride experiences

Why do GoPro cameras always sound scratchy?
It's actually really good. The airtime on those bunny hills is pretty decent.
Went on this when I was 6 as I was very tall. Screamed my head off 😂

OK, I know that you used a GoPro to film this coaster, but how often do you use them? I mean what do you use them for?
I've heard its a bit tame compared to the other Gerstlauer bobsleds, though I suppose that's understandable considering Paultons is a family park. What did you think of it compared to the bobsleds at Tripsdrill and Klotten etc?

I know. It was my first mini coaster
The Dragon at Legoland Windsor is not a rollercoaster manufactured by Gerstlauer, it is manufactured by WGH Transportation. Cobra is the only Gerstlauer bobsled coaster in the UK.
When do you go when it's closed to the public? cuz this is in broad day light so is this an off season?
Most places you go don't mind you mounting the camera?
What kinda camera do you use? And how do you keep it so still?

Did you let a member of staff know there was a bean at the front? That sounds dangerous and should be reported and removed.

It was way faster when I was there but I was there like 7 months ago I loved it tho
looks like it has some pretty good airtime.
We have the excact same ride in Djurs Sommerland in Denmark. It's called Thors Hammer.

Looks like it should be a spinning coaster
We were hear yesterday & its great for kids. Its a family park not a teens park full of chavs swearing every other word & queue jumping! My only criticism is that the food was yuk and way over priced. Take a packed lunch ;-)
Maybe thats because its for families with young children, and is not aimed at the same audience as thorpe park?

When I went on it isnt fast at all what r u saying it’s only the turns that get rlly sharp,none of the rides are rlly scary it’s a family fun theme park not a thrill park
