Remember a prisoner who had killed a baby coming onto the hospital ward with a life sentence, he had been on the 6 pm news so all the cons on the ward were aware of him.He arrived on the ward later that evening and after I’d put him in with the rest of the cons they all set on him about 10 of them. I was on my own so it was a good while before I got enough staff to break it up- he was in a bad way by then
@@BehindTheBarsTv-RickyKilleen oh yes, i was in a small office which looked into the ward- evening time so not many staff about so took a while to get a couple up to the ward so I could get in. I doubt anything would have happened to me as I had a good relationship with the ward cons, but that was the protocol to wait for staff.Nothing happened to any any of the attackers.
They should be punished the same way as in Singapore. In fact I would go as far as to say that our laws in the UK should be scrapped and replaced with Singapore law wholesale.

Back in the early nineties in my local remand jail, when you go see the doctor on reception, there was always the hospital redband there too and you were asked what you were in for. If he was a wrongun, the red band would give the nod to the boys when getting the next newcomer in. Sometimes the screws would deliberately leave their cell doors open after locating them in a cell. In those days it was usually a PP9 battery in a sock. The big square heavy ones.
In lincoln local remand prison they used to be on A2 wing right above us under 21's we used to shit in a bucket then and you used to see thd nonces picking up shit parcels outside they used to be called 43's then i think now they are vp's and you get to them then days with a little help from the screws happy days
I'm a DS Ricky, been in the job nearly 20 years now buddy. I've had to nick and interview several S/O's throughout my career, it never gets easier mate, believe me mate, we and prison officers alike, hate them with a passion, particularly those whom offend against minors. I've gone home many times and burst into tears mate, and what makes it much harder, is not being able to tell the other half very much, other than it's been a hard day at work. Back in my uniform days, I did a bed watch, high profile DP, can't name him here, but I was repulsed by him, his behaviour and how he spoke to female nurses and doctors. Sadly couldn't slot him, but I wanted to.
I also hate peados , I recently unfriended someone who told me he was a sex offender after that I'm like nah man, not your friend anymore! He diddn't get put in prison when I think he should of been!

In HMP chelmsford I was put on the hospital wing for a short while. There was one in a cell who was bragging to the night nurse all night what he'd done to a little girl. He was always locked in his cell when the rest of us were out. In the morning I went out and filled a big bottle with boiling hot water and sugar went to his obs hatch and pretended to be friendly getting him to come to the hatch then dashed him in his face. It was the only time I was ever violent in prison. I was a model prisoner becoming a mentor and doing my degree with the OU. But this guy sickened me and brought up things in my own childhood. What made it worse was that the scumbag had won a significant ammount on the lottery. I had to listen to him all night bragging about what he'd done with absolutley no remorse.. I can't even repeat what he was saying. He was lucky he was behind that cell door cos a lot of people wanted to do him in.
I’ve met a fair few people recently who’ve done a Significant amount of time behind bars and heard a few stories of screws giving cons the heads up about nonces and sex offenders. It’s nice to know this kind of “street” justice exists behind bars and the real scumbags have nowhere to hide. Thank you for this story

What about the sex offenders that are in for rape that have been wrongly accused. It happens, especially just recently in the news, thankfully the woman went to jail for her false allegations. Death is so final, and the law does get it wrong.
I have certainly witnessed a few the same as Alan from a couple of baby killers to sexual predators u name it all the wrong ones and i used to turn and blind eye to it all as when we knew people like that were coming on the wing/ward we would make excuses for the the other 2 that were on shift with me to be away doing another job or doing a detail etc so we knew that protocol was if you were on your own you were to stand tight until back up arrived and we would only do that for the baby killers and the child predators etc and i used to take a liking to watching them get absolutely battered because i couldnt do it myself, so yeah i have a lot of stories to share from working in the Scottish prisons. I was one of them who had an horrendus childhood but i wouldnt in a million years think its alright to do it to some one else i can never understand how they can do that after having it done to you they want putting down the lot of them
What happens to the majority of them is they get lighter sentences and preferential treatment in jail from screws and protected like gold dust, hard enough to get near them they’re usually segregated.
No matter how bad the crime of some sex offenders a prison officer colluding in assault by tipping off should be fired. It’s hard to keep objective I know but you have to be professional.
They are helping to ensure when these reprobates get out, they are so scared of going back in that they hopefully keep their hands off of women and kids
I was in HMYOI Brinsford with a kid that was sentenced for molesting his 8 year old sister way back in 2000, the screws made the fatal error of sticking him in reception with the rest of us who was in court and knew what he’d done. Ended up getting an extra year because of what we did to him. Let’s be clear, if I’d been lifed off, I’d do that with a smile on my face safe in the knowledge that one disgusting specimen of humanity was no longer breathing the same air as everyone else
Keep your hands off of other inmates, whoever they are. They're not there for you and your emotional problems. Don't complain about being in prison, if you're not even trying to learn your lesson.
I did my time in the late 70's.... different world then , I remember the screws saying to us that they'll turn a blind eye if a wrongun is given justice by the inmates.

Ian Huntley isn't eligible for parole until the year 2042. The world will have ended for humans and animals before then, most likely due to a super-eruption of Yellowstone.
Because when they didn`t people who might have been innocent got bashed to bits Daz , there was a poor guy named Stephan Kiszko , wrongly accused of little girls murder and did about 15 years ,a lot of that getting seriously assaulted , he eventually was released in an appeal in the 90s , but dies weeks after , his poor old mum who tirelessly campaigned for his release died the week after that .
They also don't like ex police officers on the wing either. You've got ex police officer David Carrick who is serving over 30 life sentences with a 30 year minimum term for 80 sex offences including almost 50 rapes over almost 20 years against over 10 women. He also degraded and tortured his victims as well. The reason he got away with it for so long is because he was a police officer and used this to have his victims believe they'd never be believed. He got caught eventually after the Wayne Couzens scandal. No idea what prison conditions will be like for him because there will be prisoners queueing up to get him. Wonder what wing they decided to put him on.
I don`t agree with people who say they should not be separated because occasionally the wrong people can be arrested and imprisoned for killing and harming children , the heart braking story of big gentle Stephan Kiszko wrongly convicted of little girls murder and knocked from pillar to post for over a decade , he was eventually released due to the tireless efforts of his old mum , he died shortly after his release , his mum the week after that . Sex offenders should have there meals and showers and recreation at a different time than the normal prisoners, to reduce the VOILENCE! And the officers should be held accountable for snitching on prisoners and spreading news around about what these lads are in for! The officers are in breath of their job contract and should be fired or held accountable for spreading news about why someone is in prison, it is private information and is meant to be kept private to protect all prisoners not just sex offenders!!!
My aunts ex husband got thrown in prison for abusing my cousin. He would let us drink (we were 12 at the time this was 2017) and would bribe us even tho he was only doing it to one of us. He got to prison September 14th and was dead by September 23rd. He got shanked to death during lunch and it was made a huge news article. I live in a tiny town in New York so this was a pretty big thing. My aunt and his mom held a small private open casket funeral and my dad was pretty excited to tell me how many stab wounds he saw sadly I wasn’t allowed to go. Apparently he was completely unrecognizeable from the amount of stitches he needed to look “presentable”. Also September 21st he requested protective custody so the other inmates definitely moved fast on him before he could get PC. The PD released a blurry picture of his dead body and I wish I could see the video of him getting shanked by 10 dudes.

I had a mate who once got blind drunk, pissed himself, took all his clothes off and got into bed with his mates wife. Cuddled up to her and got put away for it. Truth is it was a huge accident but she called the old bill and he got put away and put on the nonce wing. It was absolutely fucking awful for him, the shame of the whole thing absolutely destroyed him. Thing is he was a decent bloke who made the mother of all mistakes. But he has to live with the tag of sex offender.

What about a serial rapist on remand? I was raped by someone who conned his way into my home, subjected me to a 2hr ordeal, I only cooperated with police after a yr when cid called and said he’d done it again. He was due to stand trial but was also being investigated for further attacks. He faked his death and was caught in Spain a few weeks ago after 2yrs on the run. He’s now in Barlinnie on remand until trial. I’d love to get an idea of how that experience will be for him
in glenochil we have a seperate hall for the sex offenders the prison regime is basically run around allowing these monsters time at work and the gym so the mainstream prisoners are locked up alot through the day so these scum can get out of their cages they had all the good work sheds at one point they were allowed in the cooks and the laundry it soon got changed though thankfully i ended up working in the bakers and we usaed to put razor blades in their meals i seen worse though things that belong in the toilet also went in their soup after the beasts complained the prison had to install cameras to watch the food carts that get delivered to the different flats i have no sympathy for someone that can abuse defenceless kids
Last sentence I did one of the lads was on the wing had phone n everything, he used to Google 4 or 5 ppl every night see what they where in for, Holme house used to be so boring mate was horrific, anyhow on association some bacon got a tele smashed straight over his head on association next day cos he was an undercover nonce trying to blend in. I myself hate violence but loved that day on soch..... As for bacon's being given best wings I agree.... Holme house houseblock 7 has a lift and every thing, all new clothes get sent to them first.... Screw said its cos of the amount of high number of ppl being done for s3x crimes backdated by decades mate the jails can't handle the amount of ppl over age 60 bud

They put them on special wings where they get looked after and protected. They might get some abuse shouted at them on the yard but that's it. That's what happens

Don't you think a burger or mugger deserves the same treatment? They violate people and leave them traumatized too. My grandmother was mugged and it finished her off, yet that vermin probably thinks he should do nonces in too. If you're in prison you've often destroyed someone's life in one way or another with obvious exceptions, like a fight that went too far or killing a burglar by slowly skinning him and feeding him his own flesh, or nailing a mugger to a tree and ritually burning him after a few days of agony.
Trust me mate they don't get as much protection as most people think except for being put on the 43s but if left alone and somebody gets to them the screws aren't that quick to get to them as they should be a normal person getting a beating

That happened to me I got a four year jail sentence in Durham in 2014 I'd never been in jail but they put this wronged in my pad and I had no clue until the next day that have to live with me everyday that I spent a night in a sell with a monster fucked my head up
What about the ones who are found guilty, but lie (inside) and say they thought the victim was age appropriate etc? Are they still treated with contempt by other inmates? Some can be very believable or personable (I cringe saying that, but I’ve seen it first hand) Rape is rape either way, but the manipulative ones are very good at making ppl think it was all a misunderstanding/could happen to any young man. ( I’ve even had it said “ppl read my offence and hate me but I explain and they’re fine”) Or if recalled due to breach, not index offence related? Is it, in your opinion a standard rule, sex offender=bad feeling with non sex offenders? Or do some get let off, almost? Or worse not seen due to reason for recall? Thinking of a particular recall, but you’d not guess the index. Albeit it’s very well documented but doesn’t necessarily look the same as at the start of the sentence. I’m just curious if prisoners think “that could’ve happened to me” or if they see the predator for what they
They normally always get found out and even if it was previously on a different sentence they don't last long once found out cos the screws normally tell people

Said recall due to unrelated breach happened recently, but I can hear it said now about index “it could’ve happened to anybody” yet person is without doubt a predator (clocked at the very least dv, in the first meeting but not as quick to see the child rape) even after a lengthy sentence and start of long license hasn’t learnt anything except how to cover his tracks and be a likeable character to both men and women. As much as I don’t condone violence, I do find some comfort in him not getting an easy ride, especially if they see through his recent stories. Which isn’t hard to do.

Surely it does not give other fellow prisoners the right to set their own justice as they are in for their own wrongdoings. Okay, I’ve never ever suffered sexual abuse but at the same time, and again, if these prisoners take the law into their own hands, they ought to be punished as they are there to be punished for their own wrongdoings especially if they are not related to the victim what gives them the right to use their own justice? I’m surely not the only one who feels this way, there must be others who agree. Okay I commented once before and it is so unfortunate what happened to the poor eight-year-old Sara Payne for example it is awful, but again, other prisoners taking the law into their own hands is only going to make matters worse. Fair enough, if a relative of the victim was in prison, I suspect that would be different but again, I’m only voicing an opinion before anyone jumps to conclusions you’ll be wasting your time.
Actually Rick you remind me of that American who spent a lot of time in prison (Larry Lawnton) and what went on and some of the things he says is very much what you propose. I've given a good hiding to two on separate occasions Years ago one in Preston jail one in wymott. . They left one by mistake in the waiting room at dentist so me & 2 lads filled him in proper. They're horrible bastards they get treated better best jobs best wings I fkkking hate em I do. I've seen one nearly killed with fat end of snooker cues to Welsh lads dove in his cell & went to town on him for minutes before it come on top. It was like a bloodbath he was in a coma for about 2-3 wks.
It depends on the victims' age and the crime, largely, e.g. men who rape adult women are often not stigmatized. Paedophiles choose to go on Protection.

My local prison when a nonce came on the wing the screws had a way of telling us. If he was a nonce they would walk behind them. Or when they clocked off they would shout number 10 and sometimes certain screws would go to his door and say you no good nonce.
I was on the enhanced wing HMP Norwich, ‘VPs’ were below on the ones and twos, some very disgusting creatures. They were the most hated and for good reason

Back in the early nineties in my local remand jail, when you go see the doctor on reception, there was always the hospital redband there too and you were asked what you were in for. If he was a wrongun, the red band would give the nod to the boys when getting the next newcomer in. Sometimes the screws would deliberately leave their cell doors open after locating them in a cell. In those days it was usually a PP9 battery in a sock. The big square heavy ones.

I'm a DS Ricky, been in the job nearly 20 years now buddy. I've had to nick and interview several S/O's throughout my career, it never gets easier mate, believe me mate, we and prison officers alike, hate them with a passion, particularly those whom offend against minors. I've gone home many times and burst into tears mate, and what makes it much harder, is not being able to tell the other half very much, other than it's been a hard day at work. Back in my uniform days, I did a bed watch, high profile DP, can't name him here, but I was repulsed by him, his behaviour and how he spoke to female nurses and doctors. Sadly couldn't slot him, but I wanted to.
I also hate peados , I recently unfriended someone who told me he was a sex offender after that I'm like nah man, not your friend anymore! He diddn't get put in prison when I think he should of been!

In HMP chelmsford I was put on the hospital wing for a short while. There was one in a cell who was bragging to the night nurse all night what he'd done to a little girl. He was always locked in his cell when the rest of us were out. In the morning I went out and filled a big bottle with boiling hot water and sugar went to his obs hatch and pretended to be friendly getting him to come to the hatch then dashed him in his face. It was the only time I was ever violent in prison. I was a model prisoner becoming a mentor and doing my degree with the OU. But this guy sickened me and brought up things in my own childhood. What made it worse was that the scumbag had won a significant ammount on the lottery. I had to listen to him all night bragging about what he'd done with absolutley no remorse.. I can't even repeat what he was saying. He was lucky he was behind that cell door cos a lot of people wanted to do him in.

I have certainly witnessed a few the same as Alan from a couple of baby killers to sexual predators u name it all the wrong ones and i used to turn and blind eye to it all as when we knew people like that were coming on the wing/ward we would make excuses for the the other 2 that were on shift with me to be away doing another job or doing a detail etc so we knew that protocol was if you were on your own you were to stand tight until back up arrived and we would only do that for the baby killers and the child predators etc and i used to take a liking to watching them get absolutely battered because i couldnt do it myself, so yeah i have a lot of stories to share from working in the Scottish prisons. I was in HMYOI Brinsford with a kid that was sentenced for molesting his 8 year old sister way back in 2000, the screws made the fatal error of sticking him in reception with the rest of us who was in court and knew what he’d done.
Ended up getting an extra year because of what we did to him. Let’s be clear, if I’d been lifed off, I’d do that with a smile on my face safe in the knowledge that one disgusting specimen of humanity was no longer breathing the same air as everyone else

The Human Rights Act 1998: Article 2 says that everyone is entitled to the right to life.
They also don't like ex police officers on the wing either. You've got ex police officer David Carrick who is serving over 30 life sentences with a 30 year minimum term for 80 sex offences including almost 50 rapes over almost 20 years against over 10 women. He also degraded and tortured his victims as well. The reason he got away with it for so long is because he was a police officer and used this to have his victims believe they'd never be believed. He got caught eventually after the Wayne Couzens scandal. No idea what prison conditions will be like for him because there will be prisoners queueing up to get him. Wonder what wing they decided to put him on.

My aunts ex husband got thrown in prison for abusing my cousin. He would let us drink (we were 12 at the time this was 2017) and would bribe us even tho he was only doing it to one of us. He got to prison September 14th and was dead by September 23rd. He got shanked to death during lunch and it was made a huge news article. I live in a tiny town in New York so this was a pretty big thing. My aunt and his mom held a small private open casket funeral and my dad was pretty excited to tell me how many stab wounds he saw sadly I wasn’t allowed to go. Apparently he was completely unrecognizeable from the amount of stitches he needed to look “presentable”. Also September 21st he requested protective custody so the other inmates definitely moved fast on him before he could get PC. The PD released a blurry picture of his dead body and I wish I could see the video of him getting shanked by 10 dudes.

I had a mate who once got blind drunk, pissed himself, took all his clothes off and got into bed with his mates wife. Cuddled up to her and got put away for it. Truth is it was a huge accident but she called the old bill and he got put away and put on the nonce wing. It was absolutely fucking awful for him, the shame of the whole thing absolutely destroyed him. Thing is he was a decent bloke who made the mother of all mistakes. What about a serial rapist on remand? I was raped by someone who conned his way into my home, subjected me to a 2hr ordeal, I only cooperated with police after a yr when cid called and said he’d done it again. He was due to stand trial but was also being investigated for further attacks. He faked his death and was caught in Spain a few weeks ago after 2yrs on the run. He’s now in Barlinnie on remand until trial. I’d love to get an idea of how that experience will be for him
in glenochil we have a seperate hall for the sex offenders the prison regime is basically run around allowing these monsters time at work and the gym so the mainstream prisoners are locked up alot through the day so these scum can get out of their cages they had all the good work sheds at one point they were allowed in the cooks and the laundry it soon got changed though thankfully i ended up working in the bakers and we usaed to put razor blades in their meals i seen worse though things that belong in the toilet also went in their soup after the beasts complained the prison had to install cameras to watch the food carts that get delivered to the different flats i have no sympathy for someone that can abuse defenceless kids
Last sentence I did one of the lads was on the wing had phone n everything, he used to Google 4 or 5 ppl every night see what they where in for, Holme house used to be so boring mate was horrific, anyhow on association some bacon got a tele smashed straight over his head on association next day cos he was an undercover nonce trying to blend in. I myself hate violence but loved that day on soch..... As for bacon's being given best wings I agree.... Holme house houseblock 7 has a lift and every thing, all new clothes get sent to them first.... If you're in prison you've often destroyed someone's life in one way or another with obvious exceptions, like a fight that went too far or killing a burglar by slowly skinning him and feeding him his own flesh, or nailing a mugger to a tree and ritually burning him after a few days of agony.
Trust me mate they don't get as much protection as most people think except for being put on the 43s but if left alone and somebody gets to them the screws aren't that quick to get to them as they should be a normal person getting a beating

What about the ones who are found guilty, but lie (inside) and say they thought the victim was age appropriate etc? Are they still treated with contempt by other inmates? Some can be very believable or personable (I cringe saying that, but I’ve seen it first hand)

Said recall due to unrelated breach happened recently, but I can hear it said now about index “it could’ve happened to anybody” yet person is without doubt a predator (clocked at the very least dv, in the first meeting but not as quick to see the child rape) even after a lengthy sentence and start of long license hasn’t learnt anything except how to cover his tracks and be a likeable character to both men and women. As much as I don’t condone violence, I do find some comfort in him not getting an easy ride, especially if they see through his recent stories. Which isn’t hard to do.

Surely it does not give other fellow prisoners the right to set their own justice as they are in for their own wrongdoings. Okay, I’ve never ever suffered sexual abuse but at the same time, and again, if these prisoners take the law into their own hands, they ought to be punished as they are there to be punished for their own wrongdoings especially if they are not related to the victim what gives them the right to use their own justice? I’m surely not the only one who feels this way, there must be others who agree. Okay I commented once before and it is so unfortunate what happened to the poor eight-year-old Sara Payne for example it is awful, but again, other prisoners taking the law into their own hands is only going to make matters worse. Fair enough, if a relative of the victim was in prison, I suspect that would be different but again, I’m only voicing an opinion before anyone jumps to conclusions you’ll be wasting your time.

I've given a good hiding to two on separate occasions Years ago one in Preston jail one in wymott.

I've seen one nearly killed with fat end of snooker cues to Welsh lads dove in his cell & went to town on him for minutes before it come on top.
It was like a bloodbath he was in a coma for about 2-3 wks.
The sex offenders should get no protection it is so sad they get the best cells
It depends on the victims' age and the crime, largely, e.g. men who rape adult women are often not stigmatized. Paedophiles choose to go on Protection.
Bro I’m a skinny guy and got bullied throughout school and seen a video of a man being beaten in prison the other day. I’m debating going to protection wing solely to avoid being beaten up but then people will think I’m a nonce so what do I do?
the funny part about those people is that they flex off getting treated like they are some type of king in the prison cause they have protective custody
whats even more crazy is the ones who do not show up on the news try to play dumb and will try to change their name or story to be on a low profile but always fails lmao its so funny when they get karma exepecting to be the mysterious prisoner
if your on that list mfs will do everything in their power to look into who they are with do not try to be low key or low profiled because someone will be onto you if you tend to play the mystery man

My local prison when a nonce came on the wing the screws had a way of telling us. If he was a nonce they would walk behind them. Or when they clocked off they would shout number 10 and sometimes certain screws would go to his door and say you no good nonce.
I was on the enhanced wing HMP Norwich, ‘VPs’ were below on the ones and twos, some very disgusting creatures. They were the most hated and for good reason
