I learned something here today. I never realized how powerful this Cloth Tool can be. Thanks for demonstrating your technique. I will definitely be making use of it.
Thanks dude, i use marvelous designer for cloth simulation, then refine it in zbrush and and then retopo and texture in 3d coat. This is helpful ,i will add 3dcoat to my cloth making workflow Now
Excellent presentation, very little of the usual " just do this ...whiz whiz whiz ...." that makes following it so difficult for us beginners. Nice video resolution - can actually see individual icons. Thanks.
AG Creations you would have to tweak after the simulation inside the sculpt room. This tool only gets you so far in terms of the cloth simulation. The rest of work is done with sculpt tools and move tool.
AG Creations maybe with marvellous designer. This is a dedicated cloth, fabric tool. Not sure about max or maya as I don't use them. Lightwave 3D is my 3D app, and you could achieve it with that.

A very useful tutorial - thanks very much.
How do you stop whatever's underneath it from puncturing through? I want it to look like you can see the shape of text only under the cloth
