Those bungalows are probably from the 30’s or 40’s. My grandparents had one. The shared driveway was very common then. Most families back then didn’t have more than one car so it probably was less of an issue. But these people are so rude! Just be nice!

In this particular case, the plaintiff's account appears to be somewhat inconsistent. She mentions hearing the incident, then hearing and seeing it, followed by witnessing the neighbor opening the door, and finally, hearing the sounds without actually witnessing the event. To make sense of her description, let's consider the layout of the scene. Her car is parked directly outside, parallel to her front door, with the neighbor's car parked alongside hers, parallel to his door. This positioning means her passenger door is on her side, facing the street, while her driver's side door is closest to the neighbor's car, with the neighbor's car door nearest to hers. Thus, for her description to align with the scene, both cars would be parked side by side but facing opposite directions. She claims to have seen him come out, open his car door, and heard his door hitting her driver's side door. However, since she only had a view of her passenger side door, she assumed the impact based on the sound she heard. However, the photographs she presented revealed some dents on the car door, seemingly consistent with the positioning required for her scenario. However, it's noteworthy that the car already bore other scratches and dents in close proximity to the questioned dent. This, coupled with her testimony, created a challenge in persuading the judge entirely in her favor. Additionally, the defendant's counterclaim of $6000.00 for harassment, pain, and suffering seemed disproportionate to the actual damages. If such claims were accepted without substantial evidence, it would set a precedent where anyone could sue for harassment and demand exorbitant amounts. Perhaps I should consider filing a lawsuit and claim $6000.00 for enduring the ordeal of this case as my own pain and suffering.

When I have new neighbors in the neighborhood, I always try to be welcoming. They are trying to get moved in with a Uhaul. Why are you getting all puffed up, agitated, antagonizing, and obsessed with your "space" KAREN!!! When you treat people with respect, you might get respect in return.
It's a beautiful thing to establish friendly, kind relationships with neighbors. It's not that hard! It's nice to know that you can count on your neighbors when in need and vice versa.
