As someone who was living on my own for the first time when the pandemic hit, IT WAS BAD. my friend’s uni (Uk) was legit barricading students in (I was in private accommodation and thankfully for me my landlord was in a diff country lol). Right before the pandemic we had strikes, so basically everyone at a uni in the Uk missed so much school.
I got briefly hired on and trained for a company who did "intent analysis". they sent you clips of people saying something they need to an automated system, and you had to quickly identify what they wanted and put it in the system. I will never recover from learning that some automatic answering systems on the phone are literally just random people identifying what you said instead of just talking to someone on the phone. I have no idea how universal this is, but they did work for the CDC and shit.
12:50 - speaking of, there's a barber near me who constantly plays the Joe Rogan Experience, and they're even named for it (on the level that Joe could sue them for making it look like he endorses them if he was aware of them and wanted to) and I'm just like, I've never wanted to be further from a barber

I wish when you went somewhere you could grab a little flag or bracelet that was green or red. Meaning "yes i like chit chat and small talk" (green) and "i dont like chit chat and small talk" (red) Like if I were a barber ir hair stylist I would do that
There's a Brazilian steakhouse chain that does that! They bring skewers of meat to the table and carve it fresh, and you get a little coaster that's red one side and green the other. Green = MEAT, red = I need a break 😂
Oooh I know!! The reason brand names for prescription meds are so weird is bc of marketing and trademark legislation. You can’t name your new drug “miraclepill” or anything that contains a marketing claim within the name, and you also can’t name it anything that has an anagram that could be considered a marketing claim. Typically the FDA generates a list of potential options for a brand name and then the corporation can either accept one or come back with their own potential name.
yeah i remember the psychs i worked for were semi-scandalized when mydayis came out (XR version of vyvanse basically) bc it skirts that line ("my day is")
Someone may have commented it but the reason those lightsabers look good on camera is because they are literally designed to be. I cannot remember the name of the indie business for the life of me which makes them at a relatively reasonable price (my friend owns one and its pretty sick), but its not an editing trick and simply some well-engineered design.

Oh my GOD as soon as you mentioned a song about the battle of New Orleans it triggered a sense memory. My brother was OBSESSED with that song when he was little. We listened to it so much in the car. I can hear the drums that start/end the song so clearly in my head.
I learned my french alphabet to the tune of Auld Lang Syne so I have no idea what Jordan is talking about in the alphabet part
“put it in the air fryer until there’s kenough cooking on it” 😂
weirded out solely by the fact that I saw an amazon fresh earlier for the first time since it first came out, and made a point to mention it to my sister. I'd forgotten about them entirely
as an american dating a brit, i want to personally thank you both for ending the revolutionary war so my lover and i can be reunited.
(side note she’s soon to experience her first fourth of july)
Jarvis looks like a hair product commercial. Luscious!
btw the wooden ball engagement bait chef was in drew's video "youtuber boxing (and other things that make me laugh)" !!
haha i knew i recognized it
I've seen engagement bait chef before. One of the commentary Bros did a video on him and I remember him biting into a block of cream cheese and saying "It's so bussin" a lot.
lmao MacDoesIt suggesting a barber who is a Joe Rogan-bro is hilarious
Stayed up just to fall asleep to this
Amazon Lied To Everyone would probably be a more accurate title
Jordan should grow out his hair into a Bride of Frankenstein style haircut
I was on my phone and a TikTok came up of Johnny Cash being quite the character. SadBoyz just happens to be on. All of a sudden, mid Johnny Cash Tok, I hear Jarvis say, "Johnny Cash". My brains are blown.
whoa im early pearly
as a hairstylist, we get it! clients jump around all the time, it's ok! go to the barber you prefer :)
In the middle of America our gas stations are still full convenience stores. They probably got smaller in LA because they got robbed too much.
Still convenience stores at gas stations in the south east too. When I was in more central CA they were still there too tho that was like a decade ago
Even the traffic isnt as bad, there's plenty of room for people to spread out in the United States, its just getting people to lower density thats hard. Not saying that no crime happens in my city, but it doesn't feel like it happens every day.
@@Imbatmn57 it definitely just happens more as cities grow. You not only lose the sense of community, but the higher the population is, the higher the homeless population gets, especially as expansion makes rental rates higher for the same places. It's a symptom of a broken system
not just middle america, in the south as well
Jordan continues to evolve into the golfing British uncle from every movie
The fact that ubrelvy was mentioned got me. Every doctor but my neurologist struggles to say it and I've always thought it sounded like a spell or something. That must be how they treat my migraines!
ok the battle of new orleans song I only remember watching a Lego stop motion youtube video of it which was an absolute masterpiece
The barber thing is actually so scary, I'm sorry that happened! I understand going back though, the things I'll do for a good haircut are crazyyyyyy lmao
random but jarvis look really scrumptious in this episode 😻😻😻😻😻
Teezayteezaikai 😌 reminds me of jeelai beelai peet rat goomai candai (will not be providing context)
brought back memories 😭
I don’t remember the video but the rage bait chef guy was in a video that drew gooden made a couple years ago and he was doing like best keto snacks and it was just a stick of butter or something
I wish when you went somewhere you could grab a little flag or bracelet that was green or red. Meaning "yes i like chit chat and small talk" (green) and "i dont like chit chat and small talk" (red)
Like if I were a barber ir hair stylist I would do that
There's a Brazilian steakhouse chain that does that! They bring skewers of meat to the table and carve it fresh, and you get a little coaster that's red one side and green the other. Green = MEAT, red = I need a break 😂
Dr. Morris was the best teacher I've ever had, blew my mind when you mentioned him lol
“lamotrigine…. return to me
THE FATED BLADE”
lamictal legends rise up 🗣️🗣️
Have you boyz ever considered making an animated show? So many of your goofy bits would work really well animated.
39:50
"It's illegal to pump your own dragon"
I mean... it should be?
Jarvis you gotta listen to the Mesopotamia Soulja Boy Tell Em cover by Mr.Nicky
EUU phrases river 🔥🔥
I was falling asleep to this episode until you started singing battle of New Orleans and rose up in a panic remembering that song
The grown out taper is a strong look. 👌🏽
Typically the FDA generates a list of potential options for a brand name and then the corporation can either accept one or come back with their own potential name.
yeah i remember the psychs i worked for were semi-scandalized when mydayis came out (XR version of vyvanse basically) bc it skirts that line ("my day is")
55:45 is giving “Where do you think we are?” from Scrubs, but i just can’t take it seriously. The way the guy just blips away 😭
His tiktoks seem very sweet and sincere though :’)
Air and water is free in CA "with gas" but every time i go in and ask they just turn on the machine no questions asked.
Someone may have commented it but the reason those lightsabers look good on camera is because they are literally designed to be. I cannot remember the name of the indie business for the life of me which makes them at a relatively reasonable price (my friend owns one and its pretty sick), but its not an editing trick and simply some well-engineered design.
is it padawan outpost?? ive bought my partner one and they have weekly battles with their friends lol
haven't watched one of these in a while and i gotta say, jordan's hair is looking awesome. it's gotten much more grown out since I last saw :) also jarvis' hair too ofc :D
I worked in a library for years and REGULARLY sung the alphabet song in my head bc that shit gets lost sometimes
28:32 I was walking and drinking soda, you almost killed me
I think long term automating jobs that no one truly wants is good. The issue is that the government is too inept to prepare society for that massive shift. Rather than create automation displacement programs and restrictions to how quickly a company can phase out humans we get right wing extremists spending 2 years trying to impeach the president and not pass a single bill the entire time
i get the thing where bright lights make me sneeze. it is incredibly annoying!
Same growing up in extreme sun texas louisiana is hell
lamotrigine mention took me back to my teenage years when my doc thought i had bipolar 2 (it worked well for me but i wasnt bipolar i had atypical depression and adhd)
Oh shit that chef guy drew talked about years ago! He made Instagram videos making keto meals and drew couldn't tell of it was satire or not lol
i've lived in nj my whole life and i always thought that everywhere had people to pump the gas for you and i went out of state and their gas stations were so... desolate...
Theres a game someone made that’s “is it a medication or a lord of the rings elf” and it is truly one of the hardest things ive ever done
Let me tell you, moving to Oregon and getting yelled at by a gas station employee for pumping my own gas was definitely an experience
I’ve actually somehow been religiously watching sadboyz every week for the past several months, possibly years, like I’ve seen almost every episode and didn’t realize until I went to the page to see if I missed any, am I tweakin?
There’s a seinfeld episode about liking the new barber better than your old barber, and it being like having an affair
Is it AI or just an underpaid guy?
jarvis baby you look fabulous
hearing Jarvis sing The Battle of New Orleans, the song so enter woven with white nationalism, was not on my list for 2024
I know its not a racist song, but southern weirdos rep this song so hard
