    Thanks! I’ve learned a lot from your channel. I think you’re a good teacher and run a high quality channel that more people should know about. This is a small token of my gratitude.
    I’ve even plugged your channel on another RUclips channel.
    I wish you all the best in your quest to become a full time pro. I admire your passion and energy. And you will always have a good coaching career if you want it.

    Thank you so much! One question for the runaround forehand… wouldn’t you leave a huge gap, especially at higher level 5.5+ that can counter and have incredibly fast hands?

    • @tanner.pickleball
      @tanner.pickleball  11 месяцев назад +2

      The intention of it, is to bring your opponent to the middle, making them think your speeding up middle, which leaves the line open for the dink. It’s an all or nothing shot! You don’t use it a ton, you use it one or twice a game!

      what's wrong with his speaking voice and cadence? ppl from different parts of the country sound different. it's obvious he conveyed the concepts to you so i don't know what your problem is

      You may want to jump to his rescue and think of me as a bully, but I’m legit trying to help him.
      He has a stecatto way of speaking, which he sort of times with his hand gesticulations. It’s okay to do this when emphasizing a certain point that is key to your whole main idea, but to do this throughout the video is off putting. To be blunt (since you asked) his tone is belittling, like when you talk to a child or someone who has isn’t paying attention to you.
      Again, I really am trying to be helpful. I’m sorry if these sound like harsh criticisms

    • @bicyclethief
      @bicyclethief 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@JFox4587 i trust you have the best intentions, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're right. i've never watched his videos and felt he was talking down to me. and this is coming from the pov of a former nyc public school teacher and 4.5 player. to me, Tanner just sounds new jersey direct and enthusiastic

  • @jmogyoro
    @jmogyoro 11 месяцев назад +4

    I'm not sure why you are putting everything on the screen that you are saying. Typically this is done to emphasize one important point... One phrase. Or in a short. Not the whole thing. Very distracting. Your explanations are clear and you are a good speaker. The words on the screen are detracting from that.
