Hello how are you! Thank you for the videos, always well explained, I'm Brazilian and I've learned a lot from your tips. If I'm going to install this LED in the headlight, how do I install it next to the LED that goes in the cooling system? I have a 2018 Road Glide Ultra. Thank you very much
I know it's been a minute since you uploaded this video. I just purchased these as well as the windshield trim LED. Anyhoo, these will be replacing Ciro fang bezel lights, so that black pieces you drilled into are gone. I might be able to find them in my huge closet of spare parts. Do you recall if there may have been a way to install without those? TIA great video
@@roadglidedaily Update: I have them installed. No joke getting the fairing back on and seated was a bit of a struggle. I found the original plastics, I took them back off after marking them and drilled them on the table. The other thing I did a bit different was drilling the whole smaller and the nut piece in the back. Thanks again.
What a huge design disappointment. Why wouldn't they simply design the vent insert to replace the trim on either side of the headlight, and just simply screw into the same holes? Then it also wouldn't stick out and would look more integrated with the bike (while being plug and play, and being more secure).
You really skipped over the most critical part of the process; the alignment and marking of the holes. Ordered a set of these because I have the lower set and really love the look, but am sending them back. Trying to properly align them and get the mounting holes positioned uniformly is really a bad design. As someone else stated, Kuryakyn should’ve manufactured them with a mounting base that would let them be screwed down using the existing screws that already hold the OEM inserts in place. There are many other brands out there that do it that way so that there no potential alignment problems. I’m a stickler for symmetry and these have way too much chance of one side being slightly different than the other. There’s also a significant likelihood that one side or the other will obstruct the fairing outer shell during removal or installation and rub the painted surface bare.
Thank you. I'm installing mine tonight after work.
The trim that you need to drill holes into also comes off easily. I choose to remove them before drilling as an added precaution.
They look AWESOME!!!

I recently installed this on my RG. It threw b2169 code. Tracer and turn signals shut off when I turned on my bike. Did you have the same issue?
I had no code thrown and no issues. Try clearing them and see what happens
I have the same issue as well after installing them today. Did you figure it out?
Same here did y’all find out what the issue was. Everything works till I start the bike then they shut down
Having same issue that when bike is turned on …. No lights.. did anyone figure out why and solution ?
What front turn signals do you have?
Custom dynamics
Love the diffused light design but they stick out way too much!

Yeah agreed they should have just made it to replace the trim piece.
