I visited family in Mt. Airy NC in '83 when I was 13. I remember wanting to go for a walk up the road they lived on, early one morning. I was told no, not by myself, and only if two other of my cousins came with. I asked why? Was it due to bears? I was told no, that it was due to people. HILL PEOPLE, are what they called them.

Good episode. Made me some kinda weird homesick.
Few years back there was this new show called, “Outsiders”. It was about a family (clan, really is how they thought of themselves), who were fighting with a coal company over Shay Mountain. This fictional show/story takes place in Kentucky and the family name is Farrell.😂 Ironic huh, lol.
It only ran for 2 seasons and I loved it. It was a WGN production and they ended it. Maybe they poked the bear to hard with that storyline. Even though a work of fiction, it’s a story that’s been told, more than likely, countless times. Very easily something I could see happening. Great show. It has a spooky element to it too. Not cryptids. Just spooky & strange nature related spooky stuff. Highly recommend… except prepare to be sad cause you’re only getting 2 seasons and it’s so good you’re going to want more.
I’m ever hopeful there will at some point be an ending. A good one. They had a great cast. Some new comers mixed with some seasoned favorites actors. But so far I’ve not seen any progress toward a 3rd season😢
Just like Patrick Rothfuss and book 3 of the King Killer Chronicles. Don’t even get me started on how many disappointing years I’ve been waiting on book 3🤬

The last remnants of the Grendel. They are the decedents of Cain and Lilith whose spawn were as monstrous as their sins. They survived the flood by hiding in the deep places of the world, in the hollow Earth.
Just look up who Grendel is. Then research into Lilith's background. She created the Grendel from Cain's seed and is the mother of the Grendel. They live in the underworld sometimes referred to as the hollow earth. Grendel periodically comes out to feed on human flesh and is an ancient evil that stalks mankind from the shadows.
I don't believe there are feral people bc people need modern medicine and vaccines and nobody escapes uncle Sam!! They have to be accounted for and have a social security number.
Feral living isn't allowed in national forests around here.
Nowhere to hide either..national forest employees always there poking around. Fishing..hunting..horse camp & camping. But no living g there allowed .
