Great running Charlotte! 👏 Good to see this video pop up on my suggested videos list. What a great display of determination! 👏 Huge kudos mate. I enjoy the freedom racing races I did the North Downs Ridge last year which I filmed for RUclips. I think it's taking place again this year in a couple of months. Hope the recovery went well following the race. Look forward to watching some more of your races in the future. 😎🤘
Unbelievable! I can't believe that was really you as well! I just discovered the person I thought looked like "Sarah from the Running Channel" actually WAS Sarah from the Running Channel and now I found out the person I thought looked like Charlotte Clarke actually WAS Charlotte Clarke!! I think I was just behind you at the start - I had a bit of déjà vu when I saw the footage of you saying hi to Tom across the first field. Anyway, well done! I loved it (mostly) 😬
Congratulations!! Bet it’s such relief to finally get it done!! I wanted to do Hurtwood this year, but had to work so settled for the Weybridge 10k instead. (Bit easier 😅) I’ll have to keep it free next year and give Hurtwood a go.
You are right! The relief to have finally finished this one is huge! Got some big ultra plans for next year as well but I won’t be going back to Hurtwood 😂 I’m sure it’s largely psychological from last year’s DNF too. Amazing work on Weybridge 10km. 10km races def hurt, just in a different way!
Great stuff Charlotte … you did it - that’s key. I ran it too, was tough on the inclines & declines. Rest up! …👍
Congratulations on the conquest, running an ultra is always challenging.🔥🔥
Thank you! Ultras are the most humbling yet rewarding experiences

Well done Charlotte!! I ran it too and found the last 10 k a relief beyond measure 😂
Thank you! Well done to you too! First 40km horrible, last 10km- lovely 😂

I don’t know why but this comment just made me giggle. It is me indeed. Glad you loved it! Great work out there!

You say a double marathon weekend so casually 🤣
Aha- if I pretend it’s not a big deal, it might not hurt as much? 😂
🎉
This is disgusting 🤣 I was there and echoed that sentiment, lovely people, lovely event but yeah December is not the month!
Aha! It really is HURT-wood isn’t it 😂
