Dennis Dixon was the best quarterback the Ducks have had. He got injured against Cal and it ruined our season. He got drafted and played for the Steelers. Played a little bit.
He was good, but Marcus was overall the best Ducks Qb ever the Dennis very close #2
Umm, Marcus Mariota exist.
I loved him he was like the 1st Vince Young..., but was that Jonathan Stewart running the ball that played with the Carolina Panthers...??????
😂😂 Marcus Mariota, was not better then Dixon PerioD not by a long Shot... Like they said injury Killed His Career n the NfL like alot of ppl but he was way badder in college then Mariota
Justin herbert or bo nix are better
Dennis dixon was one cold quarterback. Him and pat white were real special in college football
GO DUCKS! If Dennis Dixon didn't blow his knee out that season he would have won the Heisman. Hands down.
Dennis Dixon was too cold 🥶
Dennis Dixon and Jonathan Stewart were such a good duo
Never forget when Bosie st did it first
I went to high school with him, he was a baller!!!
I was at this game. I'm a Michigan fan and this Oregon team is the best team I've ever seen play. If Dixon didn't get hurt that year they would have won the championship easily. That offense was new to college football and they mastered it. Dixon is the most underrated player of all time
Dennis Dixon was a dawg before the knee. I remember being on a treadmill watching the game when he got hurt.
Even as a UW fan, it's easy for me to give props to how good Dennis Dixon was.
People forget how insane Dixon and Stewart were together.
My goodness, the chicanery!!!?😮
Dennis Dixon in the NCAA game was the QB you wanted
That team was different. They would have won it all if Dixon hadn’t gotten hurt
Smooth as Silk
Dennis Dixon was insane 🤯
It was so amazing seeing that play.
dennis dixon was an absolute dawg. i remember watching this game in misery as a michigan fan but could only respect the talent this guy had
College footballs plays like this took so long to develop it’s insane😂
Dennis dixon was born just a little too early. He would be elite today.
Pat white too
Lmao bro got my neck crazy on the second play
This squad is the reason im a ducks fan
Boise State did it better against Oklahoma Ian Johnson in the Fiesta bowl and then again against Oregon with Jay Ajayi
Hook, line & sinker
That second one got me😭
Was at that game. All the Michigan fans were screaming it’s behind his back! Painful game
GOT EMMMMMMM!!!
I remember watching Jonathan Stewart play high school football. 🏈 he was unstoppable.
This was when oregon started to make waves. Ive noticed we uave to play a nearly perfect season to really be succseful hopefully we can make a statement in the big ten next season
He’s the reason I’m a Duck fan.
That's fire ASF and I'm a Michigan fan forever
When You gain experience, You see things in Your head, and sometimes it works
Fool me once, shame on you…. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me can’t get fooled again
San Leandro legend!
CLEAN!
Besides my own teams superstars, Dixon was my favorite QB of any team.
Slick as they come 🦖🦕
DAM SEEING THAT RAY RICE STAT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN😢
Oregon is just too good
*was
@@Laxbros1142 *is
@@Mildriceproductionswas
Yes they will prove it in the playoff when they get a rematch against michigan
@@Bamawagoner come on you and i both know cheatigan had no idea that bama would make it so they didnt steal the signs. Which means they have zero information except the 22 footage. Also bama is not TCU. Georgia smashed TCU and TCU beat michigan easily
When plays were called in the Huddle!😂
Great play ...my mind is like WTF
Statue of liberty!
Every Team is different: if You can manifest Your strengths against their weaknesses
I would love lanning to slip this into our first game back at Michigan 😂😂
When college football was actually exciting
Still is fool
Where 4k passing yards was like 12th most in a season.
The ol bait and switch
Crazy 💯
man sucks he got hurt, he was a great qb
And in 2023 they get to play Liberty in a bowl game
I’ve never saw this before and I’m a Michigan fan but that was DISGUSTINGLY NASTY 😂😂😂😂
God I’d drain bank accounts to see Nick Saban and Jalen Milroe go for 50+ against MI with this
As a kid I used to yell “Statue of Liberty” before a play at recess but didnt remember or know why, and I’ve never actually seen it before…I’m 34
Didn't see Boise st upset OU in 2007 Festa bowl?
Oooof that’s nasty.
Is this your stab at Michigan?!?! And that's the scene you came up with?!?! I thought for sure it would be the punt in the Michigan State?!?! Am I the only one?!?!
I think that's the same year Michigan lost to app state. Took the luster off
Like to see Jalen Milroe run this
How bout that ray rice stat at the beginning on the bottom of the screen.
We ran this in high school but not this well.
That rb is hyuuuuugeeee
He wouldve won the Heisman if he didnt get injured
if dixon wouldn got hurt oregon prob wins the championship that year but he did good on 60days in jail too
Alabama needs to be taking notes lol
Still wasn't boise states statue against Oklahoma
Hard to say if they did it well, when Michigan had 6 missed tackles on the first attempt, and had zero pressure on the second attempt.
Miss those Oregon uniforms
Who was their oc during this time? Some ingenious stuff w the fake liberty
2nd one definitely worked better but it 100% did so because of the first one being successful lol
Dennis Dixon , Kenjon Barner , La'Michael James. These were the days..
You forgot the best, Jonathan Stewart was the one who became a star in the NFL for the Panthers.
Number 24 jeremiah Johnson was a beast also
@@sunondalyons73 i also forgot jeremiah masoli. one of the best hard hitting qb's outta oregon.
Was this the dude on 60 days in?
Imagine Lamar honing this
Johnathan Stewart
BOISE STATE! 🐴
94 lied on his resume
I miss Dennis Dixon I thought he would go on to be a great in the nfl
What's the name of the music??
#99 #77 wernt fooled .. eyes on the ball the whole way
Unfortunately you can't do that in the nfl
And that was against the most "winning-ist" team in the country
I can see a repeat alabama does it them
Shitigan fans forget quickly how embarrassing their teams were and still are till this day
The ducks only legitimate chance of winning the natty. Dixon was the truth. He was Vince Young 2.0
GO BLUE
The ol fake the fake and score
If he didn’t get hurt Oregon would’ve won the championship that year
Always down the qb.
What the hell was that tackling? No wonder they lost to App st
How many nattys has Oregon won?
F Michigan 😂
Then his ACL fell of him
Oregon the best
Fax
Bsu still did it better
They perfected it once. Broke a bunch of tackles the first time. Just saying.
QB POETRY.
Dixon and Jordan Travis are probably the biggest “what could’ve been” injuries of the last 20 years.
If the RB gets hit 4 yards in the backfield and gets 20 yards after contact, thats because of his talent and not the play design
Where's Dixon now?
I'll wait.
?
dude, what?
Director of performance for Jordan Brand. He also owns DixonFit.
Millionare
Old timer must be salty Chip changed the game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Back when chip kelly was on top of the world 😂😂😂😂
Still prefer the Boise state vs Oklahoma Statue of Liberty, Jared Zabransky.
Not as smooth as Boise in the fiesta bowl
