Clifden is small friendly. Athenry It's a long time since I visited. It wouldn't be seen as a tourist spot as such. Donegall Downings is a lovely spot as is the Rosapenna Hotel. If your'e into golf there are three courses
In Clifden, the Alcock and Brown hotel is not bad and you should do the sky loop drive whish starts in Clifden. It's not a long drive but worth doing
