  • Over time saddle Stratocaster-style height adjustment screws (grub screws), can get clogged, rusted or seize up to the point where they become a problem. Not to mention they can chew your palm up in the process. Here's how to deal with them, plus a couple other tips.

    It is possible to obtain grub screws of different lengths, making this job much easier! Just remember to order metric AND imperial types: if you work on a number of guitars, you'll definitely need both thread types.
