I love a good clay mask. I found one by Husk last year (not sure if they still make it) at Ulta, and feel in love. I gotta see if I can find it again!!!!
I know people rave about clay masks, but honestly, I have never done one. It just looks so messy and hard. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Chocolate Kinks and Kurls has some nice clay masks. They’re more like conditioning clay masks, so they aren’t as harsh as the bentonite clay and avc mask that you mix, but they still define your curls.
Its not hard try it once and you'd look forward to trying it on a couple or weeks or a month ...I aslo suggest you add blended aloe Vera for a smoother application

How do you properly moisturize your hair?
Is your hair 4C? If so, how do you do a wash n go?
It really defined your coils. I've never done a clay mask. I guess I just worry about my scalp not getting clean, and it looks messy.
I wash my hair once, then add the clay mask, and if needed I wash my hair again to get rid of anything residue. This may seem like a lot of cleansing, but this method resets my hair when I need a deeper clean, and it defines my curls.

I have a really bad habit of trying to pop my pimples using my nails 🫣 so it’s a mix between a bruise/scar

Dilute the ACV in water instead of using a lot of it like that out of the bottle. The pH of your ACV solution can he too low and too harsh.
