I’m 12 years old and got heat damage , for the first time I was rlly said as I had a biiiig Afro when I brushed it out but do the curls stay forever or will it come back to ur natural hair ?:)
your Curls are forever when it get heat damaged the ends of your hair is we’re you will see it but at your roots it’s different. Basically what I’m trying to say is don’t worry about it because as your hair grows it’s also growing healthier curls

It doesn’t make your hair weak but it does have the same reaction. Your hair does get hard but the results are worth it
I got heat damage to the point even when my hair gets wet the curls won’t show only in the roots so would this work for the rest of my hair? Like I’ve been straightening my hair for 9 years so would it take the heat damage away?
Sachery Gil probably not . But you can try. It’s only worked if you don’t apply heat on your hair too much . But I’ll say try it first .
I’ve been straightening my hair for years but recently, it has been almost a year since I stopped straightening it. I’ve been wearing it in braids and protective styles due to convenience, but I’ve decided to wear my natural hair and it has curled back up a lot. Majority of my hair now shrinks and is curly again, just small sections are still damaged at the ends. So maybe you’re hair will revert back too if you leave it alone for a while! 💞

@@AfiElizabeth_ Thanks:) I tested it out yesterday but it was kinda hard so idk if i had enough vinegar, and after i finished washing my hair it was just like it was before:/ but it made my hair softer so i still recommend it!
@@dazzlingmak100yearsago6 it’s supposed to harden up before rinsing it . But you also want it to be a bit more watery than thick . It’s purpose is to detox your hair and also bring your curls to it’s definition …if you don’t have really tight curls you won’t really see the definition that someone with tight curls will see..like I don’t have tight curls but it keeps my hair healthy and illuminates all the buildup that shampoos or deep conditioner or co wash can’t eliminate so you will see a difference in softness..if u do it weekly or every three weeks you will definitely notice a difference when it comes to healthy hair wise

I wish you had shown your hair wet from the start so we could see if you actually had heat damage. It doesn’t look like heat damaged hair.
My entire head wasn't heat-damaged. Some of my curls patterns weren't as tight as usual.
