5:52 The four bars mean: Red -> How the pedestrian is facing the camera (the rig is either at his face or at his upper torso, so when attacked, the value is changed); Green -> How Carl is facing the pedestrian (front, sideways, he has his back to him, etcetera); Blue -> Pedestrian status (is he fighting Carl, is he incapacitated, is he just exists being neither friend nor foe of Carl's); White -> Sadly, the only one I don't know.

Looking at 6:17 and I think it's kind of similar to the blue line, showing some kind of status of the pedestrian. It might be something like a "violence meter" for the NPC that shows how willing is said NPC to hurt the player or something like that.
It's been in the official (official to Cleo, not to Rockstar) cleo cheats mod for a while (remember extensively using it for my playthrough back in 2016).

Yes I remember reading and using those and still have those. Tips & Tricks Magazine issued the big codebooks, sometimes GamePro would have a cheat list too. They would get the codes in but have no way to test it and no time to test it, so they would leave it to the readers to solve it. Often by the next printed issue it would be discovered what the cheat did or it would just be omitted entirely. The codes a lot of the time had absolutely 0 discernible effect. Other times it was a duplicate code in a different format for an already existing cheat.
@ 6:16 I know what the green line means. It indicates whether or not CJ can see the given character or not. When the green line is full, it indicates that the NPC is directly in line of sight of CJ. While a green line only 1/8 full means the NPC is only in the peripheral vision of CJ, but is still visible. This is used to calculate which NPC CJ targets first when auto-aiming. Whoever has the fullest green bar will be the first person CJ targets

Those coloured bars are actually pretty simple to deduce looking at how they change. Not saying I have done so but at first glance it appears to be pedstrian visibility of CJ, pedestrian visible to CJ, and something to do with ability to hurt for the last 2. I would have thought 1 of the last 2 would just be desire to hurt but the rest of the police in the shot you showed seemed to have both bars low when not near CJ.
To Nr #7. On the left side you see how it's shown on pc and other side on the ps2. This might be their aiming assist for controller players. It's interesting to see that they implemented both systems in one executable! Great video!
The cheats can also be activated using the CLEO version of gta sa..all cheats are there ... There is also a cheat similar to the cheat on vice city(the cheat that let's you drive on water plus it can make almost all cars in GTA sa being its tires rotated like its a future car its seems floating)
I know it's nothing super interesting but I used to be a games cert tester at Microsoft so from a platform side of things the achievement cheat makes a lot of sense. A triple A title such as anything from Rockstar would take several testing periods several times with several teams of testers. Regardless on such a big title you still wouldn't be able to test every area. In order to make such the achievements popped when they should RS probably included them to show MS that the achievements worked and help them complete more of the time consuming ones. I'm sure RS used it to test in-house but if MS found an achievement that doesn't pop that's grounds for a fail so it's likely RS were also covering their back on that front. That's just my experience.

You could do the invincibility thing with a specific method of activating the explode-cars-by-touching-them cheat, having your car be near exploding, deactivate the cheat, then repair your car with another cheat or something convoluted like that. I discovered it by accident as a kid on my day 1 release disc.

Forgot what its actually called cause i learn that in animation class in hs. but its basically telling what the NPC should react to and what to do. In animation, you set the Character or item in a scene and you basically have to do it frame by frame and type in what the "thing/person" should do. Its more different with games but its basically the same.
I found a cheat on the PS2 version with one of the books i have full of them. and it makes my cars/planes/trucks etc invincible and its kinda like the invincibility cheat but you cant survive outside of it. and there is also Infinite lung supply and even something like infinite health or something which only makes you partially invincible

if i am not mistaken, what you're seeing above the pedestrian heads (in place of), is probably a local intelligence to alert when carl [the player] is doing something. it would be safe to say that the AI in this game has a few layers, one for law enforcement, one for pedestrians and one for controlled/story AI. each behaving differently to what the player is doing. i reckon having a weapon present would be indicated when facing or in view of the pedestrians, i also reckon one of the lines indicates a threat to carl or is likely to be auto-targeted because of vicinity. instead of numbers flickering, it's visual. maybe it was used to determine if it was possible to hide a weapon behind a low wall / car. around the 6:10 mark

Glad you know your stuff on gta sa 😎 i used to use the vehicle of death cheat and if you turned it on in the origional and got out of the car and then turned it off while cj was getting in the car it would stop it from blowing other vehicles up on touch but retain the vehicle invincibility. Gta always said my addiction level was "stuck in a hole" in the settings lol dont forget to fly your car a little out into the ocean and fly into the water and go alll the way down until you go through the ground and reload back into the map.. Good times
Okey, now I'm mad that these cheats aren't in the original versions... Also the cheat that displays these colorful lines above peds' heads... I'm almost 100% sure it was used for debugging the feature that peds talk to CJ and CJ can respond to them. Why I think that? Well, one of the lines gets bigger when CJ is close to the pedestrian. There is also one line that gets bigger when CJ is looking at the ped. The other two are probably reserved by the pedestrians and they cannot be changed by the player. My theory is, once all 4 lines are full, the NPC will say a random line from the "lines that CJ can respond to" group, and when maybe like 2 or 3 are full the NPC will just say a random line from the not-answer'able lines group.

Number 8# is the color hues of the people while facing them in different ways, hence why Red, Green, Blue and White. In theory, they change the hue to various degrees to remain the way they should be colored as if you were to look at them from another angle.

Have you tried them on the beta version of the Android app? The one that doesn't have an .obb file to store the data, instead uses slightly modified PC files. Which, yes, can be modified in the same way as the PC ones and mods are compatible from one to another. (Except textures for cars, because of the new way GTA SA handles textures.) Version 1.0.b.2. I guess "b" stands for Beta. Anyway, it's a very strange version. Just like the 1.0 version of GTA 3 which uses the PC files instead too. Also, in that version PC mods are fully compatible with textures, even the one that expands the city to the ghost town. (High poly cars don't work tho because of memory restrictions or something.)

Yeah, CJ also targets people other than us. But the green bar also indicates their health. It becomes yellow to red as they lose some blood.

If I recall correctly, the opcode is disabled in the PS2 version and there is no such cheat on PS2, you just have to press the right button.

Well, one of the lines gets bigger when CJ is close to the pedestrian. There is also one line that gets bigger when CJ is looking at the ped. The other two are probably reserved by the pedestrians and they cannot be changed by the player. My theory is, once all 4 lines are full, the NPC will say a random line from the "lines that CJ can respond to" group, and when maybe like 2 or 3 are full the NPC will just say a random line from the not-answer'able lines group.

Number 8# is the color hues of the people while facing them in different ways, hence why Red, Green, Blue and White. In theory, they change the hue to various degrees to remain the way they should be colored as if you were to look at them from another angle.

Have you tried them on the beta version of the Android app? The one that doesn't have an .obb file to store the data, instead uses slightly modified PC files.
Which, yes, can be modified in the same way as the PC ones and mods are compatible from one to another. (Except textures for cars, because of the new way GTA SA handles textures.)
Version 1.0.b.2. I guess "b" stands for Beta. Anyway, it's a very strange version. Just like the 1.0 version of GTA 3 which uses the PC files instead too. Also, in that version PC mods are fully compatible with textures, even the one that expands the city to the ghost town. (High poly cars don't work tho because of memory restrictions or something.)

i think the "show tap to target" enables tap aiming. this function allows the player to lock aim to a random ped w/o touching the aim/shoot button

I used to use this Invincibility cheat back in 2008 on the PS2... This cheat actually isn't that new, I guess it just wasn't known to everyone.

It says PS2 because that is what the connector was called on older keyboards before USB. The purple DIN connector for keyboards and green for mice.
