- Throughout my 30-year career covering sports, I have encountered numerous individuals in the sports media world. From my days at the Ann Arbor News to ESPN and Fox Sports, I have always held my own in the face of conflict with others. In this series, I will showcase 50 of my own personal sports media beefs I've had over the years. Who do you think would be ranked #1?

Asking an athlete “did you expect to win” is crazy
And Matt hasselback felt like telling her hell yeah. But he was astonished that he would even be asked that question by Alex. She should have asked better questions she should have asked the quarterback about beast modes run one of the greatest runs in NFL play off history and they just beat the defending Super Bowl Champions as the Seahawks were Only 7 and 9 that season but won of the division. Lol.
Let's face it; sideline reporters add nothing to the game. Remember the first generation of sideline reporters talking to Bear Bryant? His answer to all questions was "because I wanted to win the game."
Ann Simon was her name. Never saw her again after that. Should happen to all reporters asking stupid questions.
As a Black American I want to say Whitlock calls out EVERYONE but unfortunately when he calls out Blacks he is labeled hating our race, instead of holding the MEDIA accountable!!! Give it to them Whitock and thank you!!!

You are correct, sir.
I would argue he does it more about black people/issues/culture but he's black, so of course he cares about black issues and topics more.
Also, he's fully aware that black people constantly talk about white people or what-have-you, but it's doesn't go the other way around.
And, because many black journalists and influencers won't hold certain people accountable or apply a double standard, Jason has to do double-time on black issues.
It's a lose-lose for him, but luckily Jason just don't give a f*ck😁

Jason doesn't deserve the hate he gets.
He can and should be criticized, is wrong sometimes, and most of us who watch usually disagree with him on many different issues but he doesn't deserve the type of hate he gets.
I think he is an important voice, even if he gets a little too emotional sometimes or jumps the gun, his instincts are very good for the most part.

I went to Corcoran Prison in the 90’s called gladiator school! I have been on both sides and when I woke up I realized hating the cops, and thinking everything was against me was the biggest lie! 3 years after prison and working 3 jobs I worked my way up in a dealership and I am thankful for my parents being hard on me as they were right!!! Whitlock is tough on people and that is what is needed, this is why other countries see us as weak because, we have become WEAK!!!

Shes there to smile and giggle while learning on the job. Eventually she'll be one of those scarecrows on the sideline but its hard to fire someone with a working relationship with a company assumedly.
Sports are rigged and scripted most athletes aka actors most of them know they script already who wins or who loses so that wasn’t a bad question to ask she was just following what the network was telling what to do

Among many reasons, but PRECISELY why I can't use female's for anything other than cheerleaders around a Man's (only) like football, PARTICULARLY at the NFL level. It's just Never not going to be a ridiculous PC wokejoke. Alex is sweet charming, and beautiful, I feel the same about Sage Steele etc. Nothing personal it just is what it is. I wouldn't be asking dude's about the pregnancy experience either.....
I was at this game in Seattle the reason her producer had no questions about Marshawn lynch touchdown run is because they were probably so busy trying to edit the tape because as he went across the goal line he grabbed his crotch. We call it up here the beastquake run, because the crowd was so loud it set off the ricter scale at UW. If Alex saw it she probably didn't want to talk about it either. Sideline barbie 😅

Did you watch the show?.....She missed the biggest on field run in her career and she never asked the most obvious question about it....that's the beef.

Jason has his biases like anyone else. He says he stands for truth, but he’s selective in his criticism. He claims to encourage nuanced conversations, but he dismisses alternative perspectives and disproportionately attacks and ridicules blacks. Specifically, he attacks liberal whites and nonconservative blacks. If you don’t think like him you’re wrong. But if you agree with him, you can do no wrong. He’s not some paragon of truth and wisdom. He’s a guy who’s found his lane as a black conservative shill for the Republican Party who parrots talking points and doesn’t engage in any meaningful conversation that really exposes those on both the left and the right!
