When people question an artist's prices it's kinda frustrating🙄. Cause let's say one mushroom takes her 30 minutes to an hour to make. If she only charges $9 then she is legitimately only making $9 an hour minus the shipping costs, minus the paint supplies cost. Being a small business artist isn't easy and you dont make as much as people think. So be nice! 👍
For me, I didn’t know if it was handmade because of how good it was(I’m talking about Pwuffy btw) so yeah, I question cuz I didn’t know but when I found out, I was like “OHHH I GET ITTTT!” Like It’s Not that hard to understand ppl- so yes this comment should be taken into consideration because this is true. Don’t question an artists pricing because you don’t know how long it took them to make. Period.
Exactly, some people forget she could easily raise the price by thousands if she wanted to

I love these but you could definitely change things that might help the smoothness, like you could use a blender to shred the paper and instead of just water mix a bit of glue into it so that the paper sticks together better, it’s basically just paper mache. Also using gesso before the paint or more layers of paint will help it smooth out a bit more :)

You can also do it with paper, i know the struggle ive made paper from this before so this is gonna be even more difficult (im up for the challange tho!)

I think (at least in the video I saw) they cut it up into super tiny bits and then added water afterwards, maybe that's why it's so chunky?
I use Elmers school glue helps a lot

It did not work because Mrs Dory here forgot to say you have to put glue and then mix it
You use paper rip it up get it wet mix it till it in reallly small piece and weird feeling then make whatever your making
