Thanks for the straightforward video. I just bought a used Xterra without fog lights. After watching your video and seeing how easy it is to do, I'm off to the junkyard to pull me a set and column lever.
And I just found out these lights DO NOT FIT a 2011 Suzuki Equator, even though they have the same bumper. Wiring harness is the same but the mounts are completely different.
@@tjsgarage9650 yeah I’ve seen other videos where they remove the whole bumper 😂… I think the only part I really need to be careful about is the plastic in the steering column when clipping the new fog light switch mount.
I've been wanting to do this since my truck was brand new. All the other videos make it a very convoluted process and I decided that it wasn't worth the trouble. I've looked under my truck and it looked simple just like you demonstrated but I didn't want to take the chance. Thanks for the informative video. I'm definitely getting the kit thanks to you. I'm considering doing the Morimoto led headlight upgrade but am concerned that these fog lights will emit a different tone/color. The matching Morimoto fog lights seem to be just the light housing and not the bracket included. I think I will get this standard fog light kit and hopefully be able to use the switch and fog light brackets for the Morimoto upgrade to my headlights and fog lights. Does that make sense?
Hands down, best how to video on RUclips. Thanks for getting straight to the point!! 👏🏼👏🏼
