Tariq reading Cane and his Uncle Frank’s snitch ass was definitely my favorite moment cause I was like “damn, he is truly his father’s son” smh lol, it was so Ghost-like......I also picked up on Dru at dinner and it seems like he’s an artist since he was drawing at the table; I’m sensing he’s a young form of Ghost too (most likely wants to get out of the street life and grow to do things for a better future for himself). This second episode was 🔥🔥🔥
Nigga dru ain’t non like ghost ghost was apart of the game as a kid he wasn’t trying to find a way out until he was grown he even said that he use to not listen to his father just like Tariq does with him the closest person to ghost on the show is tariq
There was a brief moment where I almost forgot that Tariq was the one who killed Ghost. But I’m glad that Tariq is starting to see/feel the effects of his actions right away rather than at some point later on. It humanizes him more. Tariq also sounded so much like Ghost when he was was telling Cane how it is. Hilarious.
Tom Smith Tariq is a teenager bro, impulsive, dumb and emotional. Shit I relate to him myself because I’m also a dumb teenager! But I agree what he did was pretty dumb, but I’m loooking forward to this NEW Ghost.
My main brotha Rudy P, alwaaaaays coming STRONG with the analysis!!! Lowkey, your reviews are part of the reason why I'm watching Book II as I swore I wouldn't. I nearly screamed down my apartment when you talked about the tattoo!!! I saw it too, waaay too much of a concidence, and we Believers don't believe in those! lol. Blessings brother Rudy!
Rudayyyyyy! Good catch with ol Lapolicia DeBarge’s tattoo! It’s the little things. Riq getting Kane together WAS a moment. I like Brayden he seems loyal.Great review as usual! Shout out to lightskinkeisha!!!
Ironically, absent of circumstances, we are gradually witnessing Tariq blossom into the man that Ghost intended for him to be. I admire his maturity to finally acknowledge and view his father from a different lens, and I respect how eloquently he spoke of his father during his funeral. Regardless of how you may have felt about him previously, watching the way he maneuvered and handled things in this episode has to make your respect for him go up.
I gotta admit I felt some type of way when I saw that picture of Ghost knowing what Tariq did. It made me dislike him all over again even after that standout scene with Cane. I probably won't get over Ghost's "death" during this series, lol. Excellent analysis Rudy as usual.
Right now it seems like Blanca is the X factor in the trial. But I think Saxe will find.a way to shut her mouth cause Blanca has also done some dirty things as well. Tamika will be the one to blow Tasha's case wide open. She's gonna be a surprise witness and testify that Saxe was at Truth with a gun the night James was murdered.
If not Death or Jail, it's called Privilege which is granted to a small percentile and what Tariq is learning from Stern, his best friend and room mate's relatives. Another point that makes Tariq better then Ghost is he understands the value of relationships and outsourcing . No one is either a friend or a foe but merely a teacher and one particular instance how he handled it is in his reunion with Effie, which secured the down payment to his mother's attorney. No man is an island and unfortunately Ghost would always try to do everything on his own leaving those most supportive of him in the dark. Feeling undermined or worst betrayed, Ghost easily turned his friends into foes creating avoidable consequences if only they knew. Stern points it out best, despite Ghost strategic nature, he lacked having a aerial view of circumstances which we see ultimately became his undoing. Although Ghost in his own right was a formable player we now have a comparison, Tariq . An according to how Tariq maneuvers it makes one wonder if Ghost was really playing chess or just checkers and why the option for him was only two and for his progeny three Maybe it's not the game, but the player.
I'm actually very interested about What uncle Gabe said about the drug game that "you either end up dead or inside".... So these words were spoken to Ghost probably when he started the drug game and subsequently fallen on deaf ears... I'm more interested in figuring out what event in Ghost's life lead him to remembering those words and trying to quite the drug game and go legit..... I really hope we get answer to it
Very well executed its always a pleasure listening to your clarity. On the line about the morning after 💊 I will go for that if the jails are next to each other male n female if not lol idk

Yo Rudy p I rewatched this episode again the conversation between stern and tariq . Stern said the problem with James is that he couldn’t accept that his moral code was his ambitions so he was always in war with himself. Just wondering if u can explain
Another thing too, it’s so interesting how full circle they show the Tejada family.....they’re like the black/Puerto Rican version of the Corleones if y’all think about it, Monet is who Tasha tried to be lol and she’s a REAL queenpin cause she means business; when she says “jump”, you better outleap LeBron lol 😆 plus, something else to think about, the Tejadas are who the St. Patrick’s would’ve been had Ghost/Tasha told the kids about their past/illegal activities from the beginning. They would’ve grown up and seen how the drug life and legit sides were but would’ve helped their parents and Tommy maintain the front (just check out how Cane and Dru have handled things so far for their mom). Tariq definitely would’ve been the perfect little henchman for his dad and uncle Tommy like Andre Lyon was to Luscious on Empire lol but obviously Ghost wanted better for Tariq.
Fans like me and others just can’t accept Ghost has died, there is loop holes like we haven’t seen his body and the whole ambulance thing was suspect in where he died. But who know personally if the ratings don’t do as well they can bring back Omari to play ghost I think as a literally ghost we haven’t seen tariq feel any guilt for what he did to his dad still early though . It also seems mad to me that the Tejada’s family have no clue who tariq is especially the headlines about his father and the crime in roots in that family must of heard of him or maybe if Tariq mentions his dad was “Ghost” not a lot of people knew James St Patrick was ghost it was his street nickname so if someone drops the name ghost surely Monet will go “ oh ghost “ or her husband who is in prison will know who he is... so early into the show I feel like Tommy has to make an appearance his name being dragged up. Could of been at the funeral but we never saw him there. It be so mad of the show writers that they don’t have tommy and tariq confront each other
Rudy P. Magic as usual your videos are lit definitely exceeding expectations, I loved your discovery of the tattoo Easter egg I hope they expand on that during the season, but I hate the fact that Tariq had to learn and understand Ghost’s complicated personality and the fact that wasn’t this evil person by killing him like the reason Tariq is able to quickly read people/ the situation is cos he learned that from Ghost, and I also loved your theory on whether Blanca may be killed by the Democrats for the purpose of a cover up, it lead me to consider whether the writers used the whole Democrat connection to Jeffrey Epstein as inspiration for this storyline and finally you are definitely right about Carrie she’s fit AF!!!! But a question for you since she’s British in real life, do u think she’d sound sexier in a British or American accent?
Also...HOW could Tejeda’s NOT know who Tariq is?!? Don’t close crime lords...@ least know who other close crime lords are?!? Oh...& IMO...Tommy’s gonna be makin an appearance @ some point cuz of what Tasha said in court... #knowthat
I believe the Tejada family isn't aware of ghosts face or associate the st. Patrick name with the kingpin life because Tommy Eagan was the face/ name of the crime biz and the only people that know James as Ghost are either dead, his employees or immediate family (which is only Tasha, Tommy and The twins by accident). Also Tariq's character is the same as shown previously but the source of his anger is gone so now we see the true Tariq, the person his parents indirectly showed him to be yet was fearful that he'd become.
@@AnykoTheDon but he ran 4 LT. Governor & was murdered, which was on the news, & his wife was bein accused. Even after finding out his last name...that shoulda been some info they had have 2 know...right?!? 🤷🏾♂️
@@marcrichardson517 true, but people die everyday B. Lol nah from that angle i gotta point out that the st. Patrick name still isn't associated with the kingpin enterprise of Tommy and "Ghost". St. Patrick now being a political figure name and simultaneously being murdered 24hrs later by his "wife" is juicy but still not enough for a person to think he is Ghost or a Kingpin, abusive husband with a "past" maybe. That's why I believe Monet asked for all the info on Tariq when he showed his knowledge of detecting a snitch! Also the enterprise Monet has is just in Queens, NY while Ghost's/ Tommy's biz was primarily in Brooklyn and a few other boroughs. Maybe Tribeca too, I know they lived there not sure if the biz was there though.

They still haven’t shown Ghost’s body yet, they’ve shown Kanan’s and Angela’s body after they’ve died........ why not Ghost’s. They’ve shown a casket but not his body. Haven’t seen his body since he was shot and Tommy is gone in the wind, maybe they’re out and about together, bidding their time till things blow over, and if so, this maybe a planned strategy of Ghost’s to protect his family making everyone think he’s dead.
I think it was a way to introduce us to more of Tariq's school life; just one of the many challenges he'll be faced with this go round. Every college I've been to had a "BruShondria" lol
