  • Crowds of protestors have gathered again in the Georgian capital Tbilisi after police broke up a demonstration outside the parliament building.
    (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
    -------
The protests have brought tens of thousands of people onto the streets in an attempt to stop MPs passing a controversial 'foreign agents' law, which they say mirrors a law used by Russia's President Putin to crack down on opponents and stifle freedom of speech.

I'm from China, I support the Georgean people
but I feel a premonition about this
the protests are framed in a racially-based way
but we need to state our vision clearly
that this is NOT about racism
but it is against a totalitarian regime
and our solidarity is with Russian people too
if this is not made clear, innocent lives may be lost

A law that exposes foreign funding, including (Russian - how ironic) influence is being protested against and called a "Russian bill". I know Channel 4 is pretty low IQ stuff normally but this is insane level propaganda. Sadly a lot of comments seems to reflect that low IQ brainwashing.

You aren't wrong that being said, Russia wants this bill based because they can shut other influences out and keep on influencing Georgia from behind the scenes, so it's just two different flavors of imperialism
