Yay my name god used 😮
Bro can’t believe god made a cameo in this episode 🔥🔥🔥
(Also congrats on getting a name in)
Dude I'm addicted to your videos. I finally bit the bullet and bought the game and it's great!
I don't have a computer but I'm seriously considering buying one and CS2 just because of his content 😂
Not you fault of course, but the lack of signature buildings like churches and theaters, as well as props and ability to handcraft parks above very surface level really hurts the game. Sticking with CS1 for next months. Good job though with tools currently available.
I spent some time in Lewiston and Portland, Maine and you're not wrong that it kind of reflects it a little bit.
So happy that you’re building this city! As a New England resident, I love it!
I live in portland and wow you did a great job
You should add a golf course
You should call the third town you made at the northwest part of the map “Quincy.”
Hi, I can’t help but notice the odd green artifacting around some of the thing, especially when you are panning the camera around
Love your videos. Every single city has hood. Why we don’t have one ?
As a portland maine resident. yes.
Even down to the train station! how did you manage that one?!
I would hate to live in this new city...you'd have to walk 20 blocks to the nearest corner store.
You're currently importing electricity,just FYI
Definitely should try to incorporate some more mixed zoning on corners throughout town, not only does it help fill awkward corners but it's realistic to have corner stores in old dense neighborhoods.
This is for sure the nicest looking build you've done so far, the care you took with zoning really shows! Nice work.
from what ive seen, the mixed use zoning only comes in rather large buidings. for some reason they didn't include small footprint assets
I think it would make a lot of sense to expand babe into the downtown of Quincy Harbor and maybe a bit further.
Big fan I grew up in Portland , Maine
Same
If you put an alley behind a building that is trying to take more tiles than its using. Let it build, then remove the alley and it the tiles should be free again. Idk if it's a bug or intended, but it works most of the time for me.
City is looking great but if you want to be true to New England then Quincy should be pronounced Quinzee. Not a single person from Quincy pronounces it the way it's spelled 😂
You might want to try more European low density housing, doesn't spawn the trailer house looking models, and more grass on the lots.
I really wanna get this game but my computer is straight ass, I see some RUclipsrs have a bit of lag while playing so I don’t think my PC would even run it, so I have to stick with just watching, which is fine! Love these videos!
The pedestrian streets in CS:2 are so comically wide, I don't understand it. Isn't that the only size they come in too?
I have an idea, it will be a good chunk of work, but if you make another city, instead of connecting the cities with buildings, connect it was farmland for more of a realistic look, you can also make more money if you place it in the right areas
Edit: you can also place farmland in general, I just feel like it would be nice to use farms as a connector for cities, take a look at Galesburg IL for reference
For vanilla CS2 it's not bad! Looks convincing enough to be somewhat a historical-looking port city in New England. Keep up the great work and I'm loving our Let's Play / Build series here!
How much did your computer cost? This game won't run on mine.
Make a Fourth Place and Call it Hardough ( needs to be on the coast )
my goodness I love your videos.😆
in thoroughly enjoying every one of your videos!! although....if i would compare my abilities to yours...i would say im the equivilent of a grade schooler in regards to skill and playing abilities wheras...you...the equivelent of Harvard or Yale lol!!
Been waiting for this😁
Portland maine is on a big hill
I live in Portland, Maine - we do have many larger (medium and row) buildings and city feel than what is represented in Bixton as the moment. Also brick and cobblestone streets, would be great to detail in future when those mods/options become available. It would also be great to have DLCs to do a much more realistic harbor/fishing area. Good start. and Thanks for sharing.
The motto for Quincy Harbor should be: “No matter if your rich or poor, Quincy Harbor has a place for you and more.
Loved the video like always but I would recommend adding some playground for the kids and a dog park. Perhaps at least one of each in the park by the water. Citizens would love it. I also would have put the condo on land by the water. The tenants would have loved that.
My only problem with this game is that medium density building are actually pretty tall, like 7 storey for a small town is a lot, hope the new dlc add more variety to fix this
All that low density housing with Max lot sizes is going to be howling about high rent in no time
Amazing pc you have! And truly a beautiful city build. ( I do have the game but it runs a bit rough sadly)
How do your buildings automatically build after you zone? Whenever I zone it takes a while to build.
That’s what it’s supposed to do
~8:00
I see you have discovered what CPP calls "whack-a-mole." Lots spawn at random sizes and uses so if you want something specific you have to constantly delete them until you get what you want.
I always find it strange when you build a downtown and put more residential buildings than shops, offices, and mixed-houses. It's so unrealistic and it annoys me so much 😅😅
the part with the quay walls would be cool in a Star Fort layout. not sure if they were still doing those when New England was being colonized?
Thank you for sharing your work. It's always a pleasure to watch the new developments of your town.
Wow
This Portland feels very Midwestern too
gotta LOVE the green grass on all the assets when its snowing. top tier cs2
Nice
Row houses are the worse kind of housing you can use
Disagree, rowhouses are nice.
