When Alivardi Khan died in 1756, Sirajuddaulah became the nawab of Bengal. The Company was worried about his power and keen on a puppet ruler who would willingly give trade concessions and other privileges. So it tried, though without success, to help one of Sirajuddaulah’s rivals become the nawab. An infuriated Sirajuddaulah asked the Company to stop meddling in the political affairs of his dominion, stop fortification, and pay the revenues.` .

Summary : when alvardi Khan died in 1756 sirjuddaulah become the the nawab of Bengal .The British want a puppet ruler like alvardi Khan but sirjuddaulah was not like a puppet ruler ,when he became the nawab of Bengal he asked the East Indian company to stop the trade from India to their countries and also stop the import and export from India he also told stop making of coins in East Indian company and don't collect the revenues but the East Indian company did not give much important told by sirjuddaulah .When sirjuddaulah saw that the East Indian company had not stopped the things told by him so he took 30,000 soldiers and rushed down on East Indian companies and captured all the officials ,locker the warehouse and blocked the ships of British he was also going to conquer the Kolkata then the company officials in Madras send forces in the command of Robert Clive then Robert Clive leather company army against sirjuddaulah at plassey. The defeat of the nawab was because of sirjuddaulah commander Mir Jafar. Robert Clive had promised that if we won the war instread of sirjuddaulah he may become the nawab of Bengal the battle of Plassey became famous because it was the first major factory the company won in India. Therefore the commander of Sirjuddaulah Mir Jafar had not took his army against the Britishes .so they were no more soldiers in the sirjuddaulah team hence the soldiers of Siraj ud Aalha don't know about the war .

Siraj marched towards Calcutta with a large army and captured Fort William in June 1756

The battle of Plassey
After the death of alivardi khan in _1756_ sirajuddaulah beacme the nawab of bengal the company was worried because they wanted a type of nawab which could give them concession and privileges infact they wanted a puppet ruler like Alivardi khan infuriated sirajuddaulah told them to stop fortification, pay revenue and to stop meddling in their political affairs but they didn't accept his words and carry on their work after negotiations failed nawab marched with 30 , 000 soldiers at the english factory kassimbazar they locked the warehouse and disarmed the englishmen and blockaded the english ships then the nawab marched to calcutta to conquer and establish his rule over the company's fort after that thein 1757 company official get to know that and sent his force under the command of robert clive one of the main reason for the defeat of sirajjuddaulah was that his commander mir jafar cheated and did not send more than half armies to fight against british that's why sirajuddaulah the nawab of bengal get defeated and killed by englishmens and the east Indian company won the battle of palssey

The outcome of the battle of plassey was, Clive made Mir Jafar the nawab of Bengal. MIT Jafar was a puppet nawab. He granted the East India Company more trading privileges and gave his officials huge rewards . However, soon the Company replaced Mir Jafar with his son-in-law, Mir Qasim
