Get a lawn chair and watch a group of flowers called peonies in June in the midwest. Bring your camera and a tripod. There will be bees and wasps of all sizes. Be prepared for teeny tiny bees and wasps so small that you've never seen one. There is incredible diversity among bees and wasps but you have to look on the right day. Peonies smell like queen pheromones and attract lots of bees of all types.
This is an AWESOME TED-talk. Thank you!
It's important to note that not just any flower is good for native bees. Native bees need native flowers.
This is wonderful. Would love to get more information.
And we vow now to remember to call them insects rather than "bugs"
(it's so hurtful) :-0
Thank you for video! Good luck in beekeeping!
