Ok I have an issue. I bought a new carrier bearing and during install the metal housing that’s around the bearing itself came off and made it impossible to put it into the rubber housing. So I ended up snipping the metal housing off and just put bearing itself in rubber housing. There’s little play up and down but none side to side. I drove it 10miles in the mountains and have no vibration at all. In your opinion will it be ok?
Great explanation of the realignment of the 2 shafts.
Just wanted to say thank you for the video helped a lot sir
