Finally somebody who explains how to select the open edges.. thanks so much!
Amigos! Your tutorials have been like my very own library of zbrush knowledge !! I’ve literally learnt it from scratch following your tutorials !!! This is another awesome tutorial!!
This was AWESOME! I tried looking EVERYWHERE for a solution and couldn't find it! Not even on ask Zbrush...they had a "Bridge Two Cylinders" video but it was for low poly models. Thanks a bunch!
Exactly what I needed!! Thanx for all your info and honesty.
Nice. This is actually something I can make use of right now on a project. Thanks!
Cool! That's great to hear. Hope your project is doing well :)
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot!
pretty cool, I had always done it with the Zmodeler. Thanks for the lesson!
Thanks Christian!
wow you just saved me so much time. thanks a gazillion
Really helpful, works perfectly. 😎
One essential tool was not shown here. How do I fill a hole where the filled portion follows the curvature of the surrounding geometry. Taken the head as an example, it has a domed shape, if I fill hole with the regular tool the fill is simply straight. So how would I do that with a curve ? This si extremely important for 3D scan cleanup.
Thank for the tip ive always drag our them merge + dynomesh defently gona use this tip :)
Great, thanks :)
And just like that my standing problem was solved. Thank you SO much. What you don't learn in college, am I right?
THANK YOU!!
THANK! YOU!
wonderful
Thanks guys!
Cheers!
Jebus HC! That's flipping (Normals) brilliant, why didn't I know about this feature... instead of the will power sucking tedium of snapping vertex/edges to a second mesh that wasn't initially designed to match the first, in order to get that perfect seam.
Thanks! Its a pretty nifty way of doing it. (also nice pun)
Thanks!
Hope it's helpful!
click on model to remove line
can we do with keeping both low subdivision and high subdivision ?
Hi I don't have this brush in my brushes What is your version of zbrush? or where can I find the Curve Bridge tool?
Thank you for this video. Great stuff! But please can somebody help me and tell me how can I get rid of this curve after I am done? Desperate clicking everywhere, on the model, on the Polygroup, outside the model ... nothing works .. it is still there :/
Thanks.
It looks so useful! :o Thanks a lot!
Thanks! :D It's a really cool tool
I witnessed a miracle
Hi guys i did as you said. But the two edges wont connect i have a hollow cylinder with an inner a shell. I sliced it. And i just want the inner and outer edges to join but nothing happens when i try dynamesh it fills in everything can you help please ?
NIce! Thx!
Cheers!
I've tried many times but I always get ugly stitches
I've tried many times but I always get ugly stitches
ok, wait, I'm confused. I have been joining subtools by just merging them and then re-dynameshing. They fuse quickly and beautifully. You can keep sculpting on top as well, whereas the bridge tool involves extra steps. So...I need to do it with the bridge tool, why....?
some kind of bridges stitch fits flipped or wrong. what shall we do ? I have two subtool merged togather. both are similar one is scaled a little bit. and it stitch wrong corners. I closed mirror. I flipped normals tried to surround curve from various stroke directions, or zremesher didnt helped.
Can you make video about DynaMesh?
Sure!
Guys I love you two.
Me: Okay I think I got the hang of zbrush, this sculpt is pretty good. I think I'll just take off the head for now so I can work on this separate. It's a 20 year old advanced program basically so no biggy. There are lots of other programs to close- ... **14 hours later, completely finished ready for rigging and game production sculpt** ... I CANT ATTACH THE HEAD. **no tutorials are helping. Big epidemic of modelers with hilariously similar ideas, also with detached heads.** halp
