Go at it at an angle, it will launch you easier to the next grapple point. You still need to morph into bird form. Going at it straight on will put you in an awkward angle for the next grapple.
Love being a tank and having the wipes 99% of the time just come down to the aerial gameplay just being a bit clunky and buggy quite regularly. Like you said it is possible to mitigate 3 fireballs with Defensives. Thats what I was doing sometimes. But thanks for the tip about the marked debuff dropping by the time the third one goes off. I was usually just taking the first two then having a separate party member take the 3rd fireball. Nice guides this was one of the trickier bosses I've handled so far.
An interesting thing I noticed is the 4 circles with lines through them on the floor around the boss. It explains the fireball mechanic in terms of fireball AoE and the minimum distance the target should be away from the boss to not get cleaved by the aoe. Obviously things can happen and effects can make them difficult to see, but it's an easy way to explain how to soak, and how far away a non-target should be to take the 3rd if thats the strat youre using.

@@lipowka3356 especially at Chimaerus it happens 3-4 times. Got 4 ability’s to get Aggro but so often it won’t work. I’m even not getting Aggro with the chain skill that’s maximizing the Aggro
@@pr0pheT-23 If this helps you, I'm using 1. Provoking roar + spectrum of agony (passive ability) 2. Chain hook 3. Shield strike with addition aggro in specializations 4. Shield throw 5. Willbreaker with additional aggro (this is a Greatsword ability)
@@pr0pheT-23 yeah basicaly. But just with the first ability you can actually see if the boss is "aggroed", because it shows as a debuff effect, and if you level it up enough, you can keep him aggroed untill you have the ability again
A lot of the tank information in this video is incorrect. I think you should actually get a few kills under your belt as tank and update this. Otherwise, okay vid
I am hoping the T2 dungeons are fun and well designed because right now all we got is butt cheeks. PVP is bleh, Dungeons are bleh. Honeymoon phase was really good though.
the gankety boss fights that punish you for not doing there shit mechanics is why i hate this game and uninstalled last night. it wanted me to jump for a attack but the mechanics of the game are so damn shodddy that half the time it didn't work
I detest this dungeon 😂 my hook has killed me more than the actual monsters in game no joke it either hooks pulls me up and rhen I fall straight down and I do take damage my most hated mission is the one we're you get the raven morph using my hook was near impossible Dsink was nuts and when I try use my glide I would fall to ground lol

I was 3hours in there and left, we couldn't do it. Probably the most stat-demanding boss currently ... so with low stat players it's hard aff

Either its buggy or you don't have enough abilities for aggro. If it happens less than once per bossfight you are probably fine.

no... tank can soak all 3... just cleanse the dot. healer can or anyone with a bow
of course a tank can easily soak them if you have your guardian or a cleanse
