I don't really like this card game rook that much but keep up the good work Cole I hope u post more videos on card games and dice games and Dominos games please and thanks
Plot twist: the Rook Bird card is not used. It used to always baffle me why the deck has cards numbered 1 to 4 if they are never used, but here, the Rook Bird card is not used either.
I don't get what people find so Fascinating about this game. I think there are better other card games out there that are better then rook just saying but everybody is Entitled to there thoughts and opinions about card games and board games tho.
Oh, Rook cards. These are used by some religious communities that have a prohibition against regular card decks. I like the bird design for the cover of the cards, but the rest of the cards look pretty bland in comparison to regular cards. I guess that's the point, though. Can't let things as "shocking" as *gasp* a spade or *gasp* a diamond, lead you spiritually astray and condemn you to eternal hellfire after all! Look, I know these religious communities have their benefits and they can believe what they believe, but I just chuckle at the idea of "THE DEVIL" hiding in a pack of cards. Oh those satanic clubs and hearts and jacks and kings! OooOOooooOOO! I doubt I'm offending any of them - I'm pretty sure if your community thinks playing cards are demonic, you're probably not watching RUclips either.
Rook seems to be a simplified version of the German card-game „Skat“.

@@Ricky83838 It may be because the ones who invented it wanted to provide an alternative to regular playing cards.
@LeotheTiger1234 fair enough I guess what's your favorite card games
@Slickrick59 My favorites were UNO and Skip-Bo. Regarding a traditional deck of cards, my favorite games are Spades and Canasta.
@@LeotheTiger1234 ok
