Wu's death can't justly be described by the word "tragic", it is beyond what the word encapsulates. His sick mother depended on him to support her and his girlfriend, who was pregnant if I don't misremember, was to be proposed to after this stunt. Wu was reckless and toiled under the demands of his need to inflate his fame by doing increasingly dumb stunts, and it cost him everything. But the true repercussions of his death were felt by those that survived him. Condolences.

Mexico crime rate is 98% more than the U.S. they have 10 cartels, 11.6 million illegal Mexicans were in the U.S. 4 years ago and it has only gone up since then. If America isn’t any better then why are Mexicans constantly escape their country to live a better life in America? It is because America is the best country in the world and it has been for a long time. Mexico has beautiful landscape and delicious food but that doesn’t make it a good country. If the lazy Mexican government did its job the country wouldn’t be a nasty dumpster fire. But the politicians are all bribed by the cartels and the country would stay like that unless a better country helps.

A week after my first tandem jump, my instructor was carrying another client. They were deploying backwards from the open door of a beechcraft when his chute partially opened, sucking them both out of the plane and entangling around the tail section, beating them against the plane. This continued until the tail section broke apart, release/cutting free the parachute.
Now in near freefall on a very partial chute, the badly damaged main couldnt release and prevented the reserve from deploying. Despite all these challenges, the instructor had the presence of mind to influence the landing in some way while wrapping around his student to protect her.
He broke every bone in his body and suffered multiple internal injuries, remaining in the hospital for months and ending his professional skydiving career. His student? She had a sprained wrist and badly bruised knee.

He was a real musical pioneer that opened the door to alot of new waves going on today. He also stood on his morals and he really didn't know what fear was as you see. He was the living definition of "I rather die on my feet then live on my knees" - (El Rey del corrido) (the king of corridos). There's a pic w him and Tupac floating around when they met in Cali. Most cases ive personally heard about amount to maybe 3-5 million for wrongful death, not including additional life insurance. 40 million put that family into the ultra-wealthy category instantly. He had a history of not following safety guidelines. He was completely indifferent to the fact that he was putting these people's lives at risk. When you said Sinaloa, that was all I needed to hear to understand. I was about to be stationed at Ft. Bliss & was really excited because my friends had told me how they could go to Mexico on weekends, so I couldn’t wait! Got there & my dreams of partying in Mexico were shot down immediately! Soldiers had been barred from crossing the border because of the drug war & Juarez being so dangerous at the time. Cartels were actively trying to recruit soldiers to run their drugs across the border because they could get through easier. I loved El Paso, I’d still be there if it weren’t for my wife’s job, but I got to see a different side of the drug violence & illlegal border crossings that most Americans don’t understand & others refuse to admit is real.

Side note to the Chalino saga:
Chalino Sanchez had a son who was 8 years old when Chalino died. Adan Chalino Sanchez followed his legendary father's footsteps to become a singer. Sánchez made history on March 20, 2004, when he became the youngest headliner and first Regional-Mexican recording artist to sell out the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. "I don't think there are enough words to describe what I'm feeling at this time," Sánchez stated when the show was announced. "Getting to perform at this international venue is perhaps one of the biggest dreams ever and to date, the biggest challenge I've faced in my musical career."
One week after the concert on March 20, 2004, Sánchez embarked on a promotional road-tour through his father's home state of Sinaloa, Mexico. He was on his way to a concert in Tuxpan, Nayarit, Mexico, on the highway between Rosario and Escuinapa, when the 1990 Lincoln Town Car, owned by his father, blew a tire. According to police, the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled into a ditch. The performer sustained severe head injuries and was found dead at the scene. More than 10,000 fans filled the streets outside the Los Angeles church where his funeral mass was held.
