Been having this issue all my life. I'm now starting to try to work on myself and hopefully get better. You can follow me on instagram and facebook. Facebook: Ryan Alsunna Instagram: Alsunna19
Dude, I have the same problem. I don't really think I had them when I was younger, I started to notice it now that I'm an adult. And I can totally relate stuttering around co-workers, and even to my friends and family. And also sometimes I feel like I can't breathe because of the heightened anxiety. I even quit my job even when I'm totally fine with the work I do. I don't have any advice for you for now, but I want you to know that you're not alone. I'm already seeking help and I hope you are too. Sending you lots of love ❤️🙏🏽
✊ right with you here. my impediment came from severe neglect and trauma. i'm glad that i'm not the only one. i'm insanely smart and articulate. but, the moment that i open my mouth, i tend to be judged instantly. sometimes (surprisingly) i get compliments, but (although i know they're genuine) they feel fake/like lies to me, lol.
I have the same speech impediment and I understand how upsetting it is when people ask you to repeat things and when people don't understand things that I say.
You got this champ. Practice makes perfection, no matter how long it takes, one day eventually, you will reach your goal. Don’t enjoy the peak, enjoy the process. This might sound dark but one day your gonna die and all this stress and worries is gonna mean nothing in the end. Don’t waste your life into these foolish people. These people probably forgot about you. Don’t even bother about their opinions they’re just opinions, not facts. Theirs always gonna be negative people everywhere. Without pain without trauma you can’t become the man, view these as building blocks and opportunities. Remember this, theirs a legendary saying that goes by (” Obsession is always going to beat talent, you could have all the talent in the world but are you obsessed”) Let's go champ Best of luck
Hi Ryan, I just came across your video. I’ve been stuttering for close to 30 years as well since childhood and have had a similar experience brother. My stuttering is probably worse than yours but I stopped caring about it honestly. I think we build it up to be a much bigger problem than it is. I still stutter till this day, but it doesn’t define who I am. Funny enough, I don’t stutter when I talk to myself or read books or sing, so I know my stutter is not me. You are an amazing person brother, don’t ever put yourself down, keep working hard and live your life to the fullest.
Broo we all got different problems, some worse than yours. You gotta keep a positive mindset and work on yourself,, FUCK ALL THESE OTHER PEOPLE!! Work on yourself G, you are all u have not these people
God bless you, Ryan! You're a strong young man! I have what's called a "cocaine nose job" for the past 5 years. I'm 47 & I'd love to have a RUclips channel, but I just refuse to put myself out there. I love that you refuse to let it stop you! ❤❤❤❤❤
Keep working on it. I was born with a cleft lip and I struggle with this too. Something I noticed in you that I see my self in is eye contact! I struggle with eye contact and once you learn to look at people in the eyes your mind will force yourself to slow down. Work in breathing exercises and ice baths
I have a cluttering speech impediment and go through periods where I can’t speak at all if I am too stressed/ anxious. (Autism). Personally, I find your speech impediment to be very endearing and I understood everything you said. However, ik how hard it is be, especially in work environments.just know you’re not dealing with this alone 🤗
When I was a kid, I had a speech impediment. Basically the same as you, r’s and l’s, I just couldn’t pronounce. I did eventually “correct” it through speech therapy but my best friend also had the same speech impediment, so I didn’t feel alone. ☺️ anywho, I also lived on a street that started with an r. And my family would ask me where I lived so that I had to say my street name so they could make fun of me for not being able to say my “r’s.” People can be cruel. But just know, I’m a girl and if I heard your “speech impediment,” I would think nothing of it and actually feel more comfortable being friends with you because I understand what it’s like.
My little brother had this issue too. We sat down every single day and worked on our tongue placement and pronunciation until he got it right. It just takes plenty of practice. I explain R's like this "err" "ah" focus on the start of the AH part. Press your tongue back for the Err, tuck your bottom lip over your bottom teeth but mostly tense your top lip when you do this and try to keep it steady I get the same thing where I feel like I can't breathe in conversations where I'm incredibly tense, or I'll be literally out of breath for no reason due to severe anxiety
I was afraid saying new words I haven’t never said to everyone. “Beautiful or sentence.” I would be like s-s-s-tenses as I was reading out loud in second grade. I meet wonderful person oftentimes I scared people how awkward my pauses talking to them. *crickets
Hows things going today ? This was posted a while ago. Ive been around weird/awkward/creepy people and you are none of those things. You have a very kind charm about you. Also, i hope that guitar on the wall is getting some use !
If I just got you in my feed it means RUclips picked you, you need to start making daily videos.. doesn't matter if you think the content is perfect, just do it. Liked and subscribed and not because I feel bad for you but because I want you to succeed. Be seeing you around I suppose
I understand you fine man. I had a very similar speech problem but mostly with my R's. I am 13 and can't really seem to fit in at school. Do you have an update or any tips on how you fixed it?
@@That_OneGuy16 do engineering and math ( doesn't need speaking) , I did this and it works great , also if you believe in yourself and go out of your confort zone to talk to people and you will build up confidant vibes ( I did this and it works)
I have a macaroni speech impediment but no stammering it's a frog ear augmentation to help with the practice of hearing for myself & it cost 17,000 payments of $72,000,000.00 for a speech impediment coaching #GoodLuck from #MasterOfTheUniverse 😊
I trouble pronouncing my r’s n my names Roberto so whenever I say my name people never understand me and have to repeat it multiple times or have someone who’s next to me say it for me which jus makes me feel sucky bc I can’t do it myself:(
Dude...I swear on my daughter that you honestly don't sound all that bad...it sounds like you just have a little bit of an accent with a little bit of a stutter, honest to God I don't find it a big deal the way you sound..and for the people that overreact on your little stutter...just tell them that the average stutterers I.q is 14 points higher than the national average.
I have the same thing I have Rhotacism I can't say r or w stay strong I get bullied a lot with this people just don't take the time or educate themselves it is them not you
Dont be hard on yourself man. I can understand everything.
I came here because I feel alone. I didn't get bullied though

I got the same issue here man. After a while you just get tired of having to deal with it and just give up on talking.
I have a good friend with a speech issue, and they're an amazing person. Btw I like your curly hair.
