Came out looking nice, I agree with you on people and steering wheels 😂, never understood how they get like that. What few cars I’ve had the wheels/interior always looks new after miles and miles, only thing that might get worn after 10 years for me is the seat, but disabled myself as well, I’m sure I rub the seats getting in and out

Quick and easy fix, i like it! I bought my ‘99 F-350 a little over 2 years ago and the steering wheel was absolutely mint so i threw a ford cover on it to protect it just in case. Bought the truck with 142K on her, she’s sitting at 157K now.

@@JLCmike4014 very true, Everytime I take the trailer to a campground there's always one or two guys stopping and checking to see if I want to sell it, a truck this vintage is very hard to find, most are beat to death or completely rusted out, they use a lot of salt here

Thanks for the tutorial & link to the puller man, I bought one online to remove the wheel of my Ranger and it didn’t even work. Gotta return it which is annoying, but I’m gonna buy the one you’ve got here.

Wondering if it would be possible to install a steering wheel from 2017+ truck. That would be a way to get heated steerinwheel and updated look.
I get you would have to do some serious wiring.

Word of Caution here, my Excursion is an XLT. I bought a steering wheel from the same year model Eddie Bauer.... when you press the CC 'on' button, the horn honks.
I had to pull the CC buttons out of the old XLT steering wheel and put them in the Eddie Bauer steering wheel.... now the CC works.
Caveat: the Eddie Bauer CC harness will NOT lock into the connector, you will think you broke the Latch removing the XLT steering wheel.
Nope: Ford reversed the Latch !@#$%
when I put the XLT CC harness back in, the Latch locked up solid, and the CC works perfect again.
