I own NVDA and plan to hold it. I worked for IBM for 10 years and IBM is famous as a global outsourcing Data Center company. Upgrading CPU to GPU in the data centers thru out the world for these mega cap companies is massive. Now add Sovereign AI to the mix. ( Government data centers ) Wall street is way under estimating NVDA chip demand because they and the world have never seen anything like this before. Just my humble opinion. Here's hoping for a stock split once the stock price hits $1000-$1200.

Pretty much believe the same they will split at some point
I'm on the fence too. Late last year, I told myself I'd trim at $700 or $750, but that was based on guidance for the next 12-18 months, not three months! So now I'm leaning "hold"; thinking it might get into split range soon, and keep on hitting it out of the park in the next 12-24 months. Your "hold" thesis makes a lot of sense to me. As well, I have a similar take: that the Street is highly retrospective by nature, so it's very difficult for it to make very accurate guesses when the market and economy enter into uncharted, "disruptive" territory. I'm thinking of AAPL after Jobs came back in the late 90's. First, those multi-colored iMacs were all the rage, I'm guessing the Street thought they'd had a good run, but the runway would end in the near future; then the iPod, which the Street mostly missed out on (because retrospection); and once they started to catch up to that, and probably were saying the runway would end in the near future, the iPhone. You see what I'm getting at here, I think! It all sounds very similar to what the WS press are saying about NVDA now.

I'm a holder of NVDA since 2008. I've seen a lot of ups and downs since but it finally looks like a massive breakout with room to run. I haven't sold 1 share. I don't plan on trimming at all before $800. It's made me a millionaire already, I feel like I hit the lottery. As long as they keep earning and beating I'll enjoy the ride. By far the best investment I've made in 40 years.

I member when you and I had a conversation in the comment section several years ago about the automotive growth possibilities for NVDA. At the time I believe the quarterly revenue was around 50 million? Saw that the revenue from automotive this last report was 281 million. Still feel that is a nice part of their portfolio with tremendous opportunity for future growth.

The Finnish network gear maker said Wednesday that under the agreement, it will use Nvidia processors with its software to develop cloud network technology and explore how artificial intelligence can help transform the industry.
“As AI is poised to change the landscape of telecommunications infrastructure and services within the mobile operator sector, this collaboration aims to deliver incremental value to end users through the introduction of innovative telco AI services,” it said in a statement.

Digging the new studio (and the decor)! NVDA is riding a monster wave. The competition is coming but they are the tip of the spear and will be driving innovation in this space - need to watch for future margin compression but I think they remain solid for quite a while. I'm on house shares as well, (started playing with this in 2010) holding and adding since 2013 - I may trim small positions at some funky levels, but I intend to hold the lion's share while monitoring.

Thank you sir for your video! I started loading the bulk of NVIDIA in August 2021 and bought additional large lots of it throughout 2022 when things were cheap. At its current price, it's too pricey for my cup of tea. I would like to wait until the company execute a stock split sometime around the May 2024 quarterly earning report before I can buy more shares. 🙏🏻

I would have never had as much conviction in NVDA without FUW, I owned 6 shares after the last split before joining around 84 a share. I didn’t know what I had though. I’m absolutely not trimming due to my situation and share count. If I had as many as you yes I would. The studio looks great. If it ever grew to a crazy size position I would trim but I don’t apply the 5% rule to this one or TSLA atm. I’m curious to see what the new valuation is after this weeks over for sure! 🎉

I own NVDA at very good cost basis. I was going to add to my position if it dipped below 650 after earnings but now looking at maybe adding to CRWD. What are your thoughts about that? I have very low cost basis there too but was looking to add exposure to the IT security business.

keeping my shares for life (or at least unitl i retire). I've the made the mistake of trimming in the past and losing out on the gains that came from this past year. I've heard this story before with NVDA being in a bubble or being overvalued yet the company continued to inovate and find new streams of revenue. Invested since 2019 after the crypto mining crash.

It's hard to do psychologically, but the old tried and proven turtle trading method would require one to buy the highs. For a stock to take a moon shot requires it to keep taking out the previous highs.
