Eric - Thank you for this deep dive into ETFs. This was a perfect time for this video to drop for me. I've DCA'd for a couple years into 4 mutual funds, but wanted to move into ETFs. Thank you for providing this video and breaking down each ETF. Also, great job providing ETC on specific secular trends that we are bullish on. Thanks Eric! For extra growth, I was seriously considering adding VGT to my ROTH IRA because of its excellent past performance. I didn't even know that FTEC existed. I checked Morningstar, and as you stated, the past performance is very close between the 2 ETFs. So as you also stated, it basically does come down to the expense ratio which favors FTEC.
Yes, absolutely. And the 1-1.5% does make some difference. Likely mostly from expense ratio and tracking error, they are basically the same otherwise, and Fidelity is top notch.

Good format for this one, complete with timestamps in the intro. Not buying ETFs at this point, but still like the 411 on these. The SKYY vs WCLD was a good clinic on differentiating like products. SPRX as the capper made for a great finale.

Another significant difference between QQQ and QQQM: the price per share. I know this doesn't matter in many cases, but it does if you are not able to buy fractional shares, and in some other real life cases, but most importantly to me, for my students who play "The Stock Market Game" which not only does not allow fractional shares, but also has a 10 share minimum trade rule. 🙂

Mutual funds are usually higher expense ratio. Except for like FZROX zero fees etc

Excellent content… well worth the time and effort…In fact, I liked it so much I have watched it 2x in its entirety so that I didn’t miss anything.. I am thinking about my kids portfolios. I don’t want them in individual stocks until they have a good base in index funds and etfs. This was exactly what i needed to better structure their portfolios to maximize their growth and steer them in the right direction..thanks Eric…ps. The last fund- as you know fund performance goes up and down and i can’t bring myself to pay a .75 expense ratio
.75 is cheap. I used to pay a 6% front loaded fee and a 1.5% expense ratio on mutual funds. It’s more actively managed, hence the extra. Still cheaper than hiring someone. 🔥👽✌️

Verry enlighting video. The core ETFs in my portafolio are QQQ, VT and SCHD. I also own a bit of VUG and ARKX. I would like to know you opinion on ARKX or other space exploration ETFs.
I have own both CIBR and SMH until last Friday and got some great profits out of them but hence I already own in my stock portafolio names like NVDA(top holding with AMZN, PLTR, CRWD), ARM, ASML and CRWD, ZS, NET
I wanted to lock in some profits to hold some cash for the pullbacks.

Thanks! I haven’t looked at ARKX recently, but when it first came out, the holdings were laughable imo. There are others like UFO to explore.
