S&P 500 inclusion will help the company. They need more institutional ownership and less an army of retail traders trying to beat big money shorts

One area where Palantir has huge credibility is in their large Enterprise partners- AWS and ORCL to name two. Accenture and Leidos to name two more. More credibility provided by the USArmy, USSOCOM, and UKNHS.

I have two long options calls on pltr. I remember in a earlier earnings calls. Karp said it normally takes about 6 to 9 months before any money shows on the balance sheets. So all those contracts they received should be showing up on the balance sheets in the next earnings call

Love your take Eric. What I don’t understand is if you continue to dilute the shareholder, how is this a good thing?
It’s not necessarily a good thing, but it’s also common in software.
In an absolute sense it's hard to call it a good thing, because it's an expense. This topic is more important with unprofitable companies who don't report GAAP profit. Stock-based-compensation (SBC) can ensure that the employees are best aligned with stockholder value. It also is an alternate for unprofitable companies vs. cash to recognize top performers. SBC can hold talented performers for longer than cash, as the plans can stretch out more than 3 years. Once a company achieves the level of stability and positive profit that PLTR has, it's less about dilution for investors. The growth outruns the dilution. PLTR does not have an SBC problem at this point.
@@SheriffUSA appreciate the perspective. Given they have 3 billion in unallocated cash, should they not buy back the equivalent shares? I understand the stock is overvalued and a bad time to buy back. With that said, as a shareholder, hard to watch an 8% dilution in one quarter.
I would prefer if they invested the funds, either into other ventures or business expansion. It’s still in the growth phase with lots of TAM to pursue.

There was a lot of hype around PLTR when it first began to trade in the summer of 2020. I almost bit, but glad I waited until April 2023 when I bought in at a better price. Great grounded coverage of the stock. Appreciate your expertise. Thank you!

Out of so many fast growing, newly-ish profitable companies, PLTR is one which gets so much buzz. They have such an ambiguous business model and an uncertain future growth path. Not to mention their p/ocf of 85 is much higher than recent history, and other than other companies growing not only faster, but with clearer business models. I just don't understand the love for this stock.
It’s a SaaS company with recurring revenues, so you have to look at the appropriate metrics. But the video does provide good insight as to why it’s popular with individual investors. Cheers.

Dan Ives's 35 for pltr and 300 for tsla is outrageous. tsla only holding above 150 because of pumpers, meme promoters and polarizing CEO otherwise their business is toast. PLTR valuations -unsustainable. their revenue depends on govt contracts. they may say otherwise just like tesla calls itself AI company and not auto maker. PLTR is not true AI company. they just surfing the hype

TSLA business is toast.... $26B in cash.... make $20 to 25B in revenue every quarter from just the auto business. Gross margins on battery storage is 24% and sitting on an untapped $7.4B in deferred revenue from megapack contracts and FSD. But yeah you're right they're toast.... 🙄

lol if you’re buying a company like Palantir and not willing to hold for 5 to 10 years if not longer you shouldn’t even be looking at them at all. Also making a near 200% return in the past year isn’t considered struggling.
This is probably trolling. If it's not-- friend- PLEASE pull back on the charts and take a longer view. Don't invest in any company you plan to hold for less than 5 years. Palantir is a unique company. It has many challenges and might not be one for you. It is far from struggling.
