Proof you don't need 500hp to have fun. Have one on order might be in the spring time before getting it. Unless I change my mind before then. Until then pretty excited about it. Haven't had a fun fwd sedan with a manual transmission since 2006. When I had a 2002 Cavalier LS Sport with the 2.2 ecotec motor as a daily.

@@dbzownz12345 well you’re not going to be able to drift in a fwd car to begin with so not having a handbrake isn’t going to take away that ability. That being said, you still can get liftoff oversteer with this car during hard cornering. It’s a pretty tossable car even without a handbrake. Plus you don’t need a hand break to initiate oversteer or a drift, handbrakes help with maintaining angle.

@@dilonkao yeah that was my first time at the Ridge, second track day ever, it was a little crazy. I'll be there on the 28th with SCCA 😊 and thx for the setup info, I've been trying to figure out an interior rig
This is a year later so you probably already know but 27won has a big brake system that's supposed to be pretty good. I plan on putting it on my 23 Si.
Through some ceramic pads and vented rotors on her, won't cost much, buy 4 semi slick tires, and that thing would cook around the track, I could see the brake fade coming into play as you were a little less aggressive after a few turns, but great driving for one and two that car looks like she's on rails going around corners. Very little scuffing in the turns. Great video!
Those two are the ones I thought I was getting. I’m okay w/o wireless charging. But no heated seat is a huge bummer. Had it on every one of my dailys. It’s tough to sit for the first 20-30 minutes.
I owned a 10th gen SI for a few months and replaced it as I felt the 1.5L was at it's limit. I owned a B16B swapped EK, K20 FA5 before the 10th gen and all those motors seemed to match the respective chassis they were on. Do you feel like the 11th gen is "missing" the 2.0L? I would consider giving Honda another chance with plans to maybe swap the motor from a wrecked FK8 or Accord Sport 2.0 6M. Great video though, thanks for taking us along on your track day and enjoy the car in good health!
Yes, the 11th gen chassis stiffness does make me feel like it’s made for something with more horsepower. A K in it would make it delightful. 10th gen Type R and likely 11th gen Type R both have K series in the engine bay. Although no news yet, I have a Type R pre-ordered in another country. 😆😆😆
