Get an old vice (probably safest to go record) from a car boot sale or the tip or something you’ll get it cheaper it will be better quality but may need a bit of restoration but there quite simple to take apart and do properly especially the non quick release.
I’ve recently bought cts quick connect adapters, they’re great. A bit big but they hold the tool really well and I get really good suction through them
Nice video matt few things id say you could of added digital calipers and pipe clamps a started with pipe clamps properly about 6 months ago. Game changer and so much cheaper than likes of paralell clamps. Love the quick connect syatems. I have one on each my tools just move the hose to what ever is needed. Also if your ever needing upgrade shop vac any point i recently bought the titan wet dry from Screwfix with the paper cone filter think was 60 all in game changer. 🏴👍
That's a good and varied list Matt, something for everyone, well done! I replaced my Bosch handle jigsaw with a festool barrel grip a few years ago and mostly use it inverted and find the design very easy to guide along a line with just the blade showing. In the workshop the cable is not really a problem, but if I was going to be using this out on site I would definitely go cordless. My birthday falls one week to the day before Christmas, so I tend to get just one pressie. When I was a wee one I did not like this at all, but these days it makes for a much more useful gift. This year Santa has kindly brought be a full set of Narex mortice chisels and I have the same diamond stone as yourself and strop to keep them nice and bright. All the best to you Matt and thank you for your interesting videos.
Great list! The CTS QuickClick hose system is brilliant! I've written on the blue vent rings which tools each adapter fits onto/into. The hose end even clicks directly into Bosch tools such as the mitre saw. The CTS folk are super helpful, and the anti-static version is like magic cleaning up a burst bean bag...
Just picked up the shed book via your link. I'm about to start building a shed / pseudo-garden room, and your shed / workshop / garden room video tutorials are my main reference thus far as to how to go about it.
Hi Matt, thst was a great list, but what about measuring tape/ ruler, some type of good square, mind you the list could go on and on, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Definitely diamond stone, I have the large one you have it is brilliant. Another thought tools for best is one worth considering. I got a set of Narex chisels last year. No digging out rusty nails with these, just a pleasure to use and own
Dear Santa, Matt was right. I do need a few more clamps. I'd also like to find the jigsaw that suits me, as my current one is usually the last tool I reach for. Now onto a diamond sharpening block. Don't they look fantastic? I think I'll keep my list short, as I don't want to be greedy. Just a thought before I go Santa, if you ever need any running repairs on your sleigh, I'm sure Matt would be more than happy to help. He might even have a mince pie on offer...
Woodwork Step by step has been updated a few times. My wife gave me a copy for my 50th birthday a few years back. Excellent for picking wood species, identifying a tool, and selecting a wood joint. It should really be called the Woodwork Bible. $0.02
Thanks a bunch for the list, Matt! 😃 I have a pretty good action camera for recording my workbench for electronics and stuff like that... But soon I'm going to invest in something better, exactly for woodworking! (Well, at least if everything works out the way I planned. 😬) Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊 And happy holidays!
This isn't for you Matt, it's for cooking Matt (but he isn't monetised yet) You can take a small percentage in handling when you pass it onto that Matt 😊

Good morning Mr Badger, I have an old Record 52 1/2 quick release bench clamp if you wanted it, I’m in Cornwall.
Definitely diamond stone, I have the large one you have it is brilliant. Another thought tools for best is one worth considering. I got a set of Narex chisels last year. No digging out rusty nails with these, just a pleasure to use and own

Nice list but where's😂 the Christmas pudding recipe
I’m afraid I’m not a Christmas pudding fan
@@Badgerworkshop guess I will just have to get one from ASDA 🥺
