      Rather, too dumb to deploy them in the first place, as I had specifically been told not to, but instinct kicked in, then cold blood again. 😂

    Tuviste buena intervención para intentar salvarlo sin que fuera fatal y lo lograste! Que crack jeje.

      Un poco de acojonamina si que pasé la verdad... pero bueno, es parte de la experiencia de volar queroseno, hay que estar preparado para estas eventualidades, así que a su manera fue apropiado que me pasara en mis primeros vuelos... prueba de fuego superada! xDDD

      It certainly gave me the chills! 😂

    • @janmb
      @janmb Год назад +1

      Very true. Far more crashes are caused by trying to make it to the runway when the energy really isn't there for it, than doing the opposite though. So almost always the right call to do what Jandro did - keep nose low, keep flying speed, don't turn tighter than energy allows, and set it down gently on the belly. Even in rough terrain, that is usually a less bad option than anything else.

    Nice job. My X45 pump failed after the second flight on a mini avanti.

    • @RC4ever
      @RC4ever  Год назад

      Ouchie, that's quite the scare!
      This one had been running for 27h, there was a problem with the pump it seems.

  • @robertofm95
    @robertofm95 2 года назад +1

    En veritat ha sigut una molt bona salvada, felicitats!! Fa temps que estic "calent" amb la X45... ¿Aquestes parades son habituals al món de les turbines? ¿Era el primer cop que passava en aquesta unitat en 27hores?

    • @RC4ever
      @RC4ever  2 года назад

      Hola Robert! Merci! :D
      Son relativamente habituals en el sentit que ja n'he vist unes quantes, però és una incidència puntual i no hauria de ser normal si tot està en ordre. Els motius principals per parades així solen ser entrada d'aire al circuit o problemes amb la bomba de combustible. La major part de turbines modernes també tenen sistemes de re-start, però triguen uns quants segons, i no està garantit. I sí, pel que vaig entendre, aquesta va ser la primera parada d'aquesta turbina en 27h d'us.
      La veritat es que es una meravella aquesta turbina, molt recomanable! :D

    You got this used from Jan? Sounds like you need to go through the plumbing to see if there is any leaks. Hopefully no more flameouts. More testing is needed than a edf.

    • @RC4ever
      @RC4ever  2 года назад +1

      I didn't get it from him, it's still his.
      He just allowed me to hijack it for a few rides :')
      The plumbing was fine apparently, it's explained in the slowmo section and in the description, there was a problem with the fuel pump.

    • @janmb
      @janmb 2 года назад +1

      No leaks no air, just a broken pump

    Cool - is that a transmitter tray you are using?

    • @RC4ever
      @RC4ever  2 года назад +1

      Yes! Jan uses a Jeti tray-type. After flying with it though, I stand reassured that I personally prefer the normal 'grab-style' transmitter :)
      A matter of personal preference mostly.
