Looks great - nice that you handled it yourself and didn't need the dealer.

Wow, that was impressive! I watched both videos and enjoyed seeing how it's done. I'm considering buying a Kioti tractor, and now I'm hesitant after seeing several loose bolts inside the bell housing. Would you recommend Kioti? Thanks for great video!

I Honestly like the machine and a lot of the features that it has over other brands. But there is one simple thing that would have made me pass up buying one, if I had known this before. And that is the ECM software is propriety, meaning even tho it has a standard obd2 part, I cant access data, read/reset codes/limp mode, etc. Only the dealer has access to the software to be able to do so. I'm a mechanic and work on my own stuff so this was a huge shocker to me the first time I got a limp mode and couldn't access it. The loose bolts honestly wouldn't scare me away, that kinda stuff can and does happen on any brand. If you're not a mechanic and plan on having any work done to your machine outside a normal PM service, I totally recommend Kioti.

Any guess as to how much this repair would cost at Kioti repair shop? And can you tally up the hours it took you, ballpark?

Just a guess, the dealer would probably bill about 15-20 hours for it. $2500ish in labor. I probably had about 12 hours in it, but I work fast.

Nice video, hoping to pull the trigger on an NX5010 with cab soon. Are the loose bolts a thing to count on or just someone at the Assembly plant having a bad day and not tightening the bolts?
Any problems with the model mentioned above that I should be aware of or keep a look out for? Thanks in advance for your answers, I just subscribed also.

I had a lot of emission issues early on with mine. Haven't heard of any other issues on the forums concerning the loose bellhousing bolts or oil plug. Not to say the dealer could be covering them up though. I love the tractor, it's a good strong tractor with tons of features that the competition lacks, and it's reliable since I fixed the emission stuff, but it's a proprietary ECM software ameaning only the dealer can access it to diagnosis etc. I'm a mechanic so if I would have known this, I wouldn't have bought it. If I was someone who won't be doing there own repairs, etc, this isn't a big deal or deal breaker.

@@racertjay Thank you. One more question, if you have to split it open, how do you keep from losing the freon?
