thank you!
gentle wash. like hand wash.
incredible color on that wash. personally I soak mine once before wearing them at all so I dont waste months on a jean that turns out not to fit later, and Im fussy with the inseam length.
Thanks. I've always done that also, a one soak. I like the legs long myself. I've been lucky that they've stretched back out a bit in the waist, so they're not as tight as when I first washed them.
I just got my Levi's 511's coupla weeks ago though I have worn em since receiving without wash.
Since the fabric is different than raw selvedge, washing them early won't really make a huge difference.
Nice! Does one rock have any online retailers that ship to USA ?
Thanks. I don't know for sure. Have you checked all the Japanese stores online?
Yes! Big fan of the denim vids!
Thanks! Me too
don't know if I like the rear buckle.
It's hit and miss on them. It's left over for guys that didn't want the "new" belt.
Nothing like a freshly washed and sun bleached jeans.
It's not selvedge. So I think I must rinse it out.
looks good. I have seen some people get good results with a cap-full ( less than a tablespoon) of bleach in the wash to get rid of the dinginess and have a better fade although that might be something you want to try with one of your less expensive pair of jeans first. Also have you tried on Levi's jeans from this era ? how close is the conners fit ?
Thanks. I don't think any bleach will get on these. I don't mind dinginess myself... lol. I've owned all the LVCs. Conners is 100% fit to originals. Plus they are made on the same year machines as originals which makes them a bit better than LVCs.
3 inch inseam loss is crazy. Are these unwashed/unsanforized from the factory?
Unwashed, raw unsanforized.
did the honeycombs shift up due to shrinkage?
Just a bit but nothing to worry about. I’ll make more. lol
@@derekdoeschannel cool!
Mine are Black.
Black jeans fade very quickly with a wash. I’d only wash them when really needed.
get a 30 by 30 let me know Derek.
What do you mean? 30 would be too small for me both in the waist and leg.
I don't understand. People wear a piece of clothing for a year and never wash them???? Why would you do this? They must really stink by that point. Why would you not wash them after wearing them once like a normal person?
Wearing selvedge raw denim isn't for everyone. No, they didn't have any smell, I'm not sure why peoples pants would stink after a period of time? Washing your denim after every wear severely limits the amount of time they're still wearable. I think it goes back to when these jeans would have been "new" as in 1937. Men back then didn't wash their jeans every time they wore them. They'd probably get a few washes per year actually and not in modern machines like today. That is why vintage denim looks so much better than todays denim. They try to copy the look but it's never the same as original, actually worn in denim from the past.
