- Derek shows you 2 different field coats (Jackets). One is a very late M51 made in 1964 and the other is an M65 made in 1975. Both jackets are currently for sale and available at :

Well it’s great to see these new pick ups. Nice 1975 model for the m65 and what a lovely transitional m51/65. Great work. The combat patch is the MACv patch and 5th army. Today arrived a first pattern m65 1965 so I was excited to have a new arrival. Keep up the collecting.

I have now 8 m65’s of the first pattern. I actually showcase them on a short here on my channel. I too am hooked on jackets and coats, but I do love vintage t’s as well. Here in Mexico City, we just have access to the bales of clothing sent from the U.S., which really makes it a cool spot to hunt for items. Love your channel and content. Saludos from Ciudad México.
Wow Derek, what a coincidence! Just this weekend i picked up an M65 also from '75 AND manufactured by Cherokee. This was in Sweden of all places, at local denim and vintage market.
Without being an expert I'd say mine was pretty minty - it even had loose threads still hanging off of it. Pull tab was still there too!
This is my first M65 and I'm looking forward to using it when fall comes around. It was a medium short and I'm 5'10 with a 42 chest so probably pretty much perfect sizing for me. I've tried large ones and they're too big on me and I think medium regular would be to long.
It was on sale for about $100 (converted) but I haggled it down to $75.

@derekdoeschannel I'm curious, what does an M65 in decent versus very good condition usually go for where you're at? With them being MUCH more readily available over there than here and all that. :D
The prices really depend. They're not that common anymore like they used to be (for the 60's-70's). I think what you paid is kind of what they go for here too.
i think that's genuine M51. Buttons (regular) on the sleeve, not Velcro, "silver" zipper. Nothing strange for a classic M51 Field jacket. Great jacket, too.
It is a M51, it’s just in between. Missing a few details from the 1951 models
