This is really a labor of love. All your little members of your family are so lucky to have you as their “mom”. I don’t know where you get all the energy to do all this and this is just a small glimpse of what is really involved. I noticed the dogs go out to do their business multiple times, day and night using the sliding door in the bird room. How do your birds stay warm with all the traffic opening and closing the sliding door when it is frigid out there where you live? I would think the birds will get a chill.

Hi, I have an additional heater in my birdroom. I find opening the door a few times a day helps to air out the birdroom. When it's extremely cold I use the side door as it is too cold to open the birdroom door.
@@Loveofpets I have a question that isn’t related to this video but thought if anyone, you would be able to identify what type of parrot this contestant name Jack Nicora had on his shoulder while auditioning for American Idol last month. His parrot, Mango, is around the size of a cockatiel but doesn’t have the crest with a yellow body and orange tail. Some videos of the bird show reddish Orange on the belly too. @@Loveofpets I agree with 😢FACE, you are something else. Queen 👑 you are, Mother, Wife, & miniature petting zoo. Let's not forget chef too. You just blow me away. This was just on your animals, not even a glimpse of the rest of your day. The chores we are all not too crazy about doing but a must. After all the bird room would be closed down for sleep mode, I would be dragging myself to the bed & just flop& go into a coma. I for sure would need a house keeper too, for you there is not enough praise. I also adore orchids & yours are all blue ribbon. You are one very special & blessed young LADY. I do my best. It's routine for me so I am so used to it. I always thought that if someone was to come into my house and do what I do they would be overwhelmed and exhausted, lol

Wonderful video! As a dog trainer, I love to see you taking such great care of your puppy and training him! A little tip: you should try getting some plant shelves with glass doors. That way you can still see your plants and they can get light, but your birds can’t get to them. Having plants and birds is tough! My canaries and finches ate an entire marbled queen pothos of mine 🤣
Thanks for the tips. I was thinking about getting a shelf but don't have much room for a shelf but I am seriously thinking of it. I could remove a piece of furniture, lol

I know its lotsa work, you're a great pets mom. There are lots of things to learn thanks for the video. I noticed you got pets based on your personality, im considering it too, most of the people aren't aware about it they gets based on cuteness and talking ability, this is the reason lots of animals get abused, neglected, abandoned, rehomed, end up euthanizing, not every species and breeds are for everyone. I clearly know that nippy birds aren't for me no matter how much i love talking parrrot, im stick with docile. Lots of love from India 💗💗💗 all are adorable and congratulations to the bourke couple. Can't wait to see the babies 🐣🐣🐣

@@Loveofpets I love Border Collie and few others breeds too but they need enough space to run/excrcise, dosen't make any sence to make them lap dog, here in India where i live climatic conditions arent good summer is 8months long, only reason not getting them, specially long fur one. But some ppl has breed like Husky living like couch potato under the AC, don't have enough room for burning their energy.

Aww, way too cute!! Hi Donna, how does the puppy get along with your parrots, good i hope, I know most dogs are fine with parrot, but puppies are really active❤😂you're wonderful, if i were to get a dog it would definitely be a poodle! Just love this breed so much!!❤
So far Benny is okay with my birds and bunnies. He does like to watch them fly. I am training him to be nice and gentle with other pets and to leave it.

I have 4 cats, 1 dog, 7 birds inside wish I had a birds room so they can stay out longer as I know they be safe from any danger as they in my dining room but it's opens on to my kitchen and living room can't leave them out unsupervised. I also have some Aviary birds

My goodness do you ever have a rest yourself, my pair of budgies hav3 just had their first babies 3 of them it is interesting to watch what you feed them, could you go in depth please as I m in the process of transiting the parents over to pellets etc. I’m also in the throws of doing. You obviously have a husband like mine and whatever I come home with he is okay. I wouldn't be with him if he wasn't. He can be just as bad as I am. I call it Poop Patrol so I also pick up once or twice a day because we have Irish Wolfhounds and Chihuahuas. I tried to look up a service but they only come once a week so they do not know how much IW's go potty I guess. Lol
Yes my husband is supportive and doesn't mind what I bring home.
I can't imagine how much poop wolfhounds make and the size of it, lol

They're all so cute! We have 1.chinese water dragon,Lokia 12y, rehomed adopted to us 2016.she has a large terrarium in liv rm bigger than our tv shes more fun to watch 🥰, 2 bearded, Ginsu n Kael, rehabbed and adopted by us, ages unk 2017, 2018, males, in sep bedrooms, and 2 adopted cats 1 female, now 10 was evicted, so we adopted her in 2018 100% indoor Mookitty, shes still v skittish but has come around to my son and I..and 1 male Magicat, 15y indoor and so enjoys the outdoors being a Maine Coon he sure has the energy and coat for it 🥰 .aren't they just the best friends and pals. My life my pets and fam🥰🥰🥰

You are so welcome. Some of the birds were hand fed from where they came from, some I finished the hand feeding. Some were not tame and were found outside. They don't step up but they know when it's bedtime and go in their cages. They like my company and will take treats from me as they know I am not going to hurt them.
How can you clean up all their poop? What kind of flooring do you have in their? How big is the room and is there a certain space amt for the amt. of birds?

English and regular budgies?
Its best to keep them separate as Parrotlets can be aggressive. I have seen some being friends with budgies but it doesn't always go well
We must have been cut from the same cloth! Although my flock is no where near this size, I do have 3 birds, I collect orchids, and I've owned standard poodles in the past. Great minds think alike, right?

How can you get all of them back in their respective cages? Are they all loose with their cages open?
I close the doors to most of their cages and leave open the flight cages. They have their food and water on top of the cages. They get sleepy and want their treats and seeds and they usually go in their cage as soon as I say it's bedtime. Some I have to get to step up.

Hi, feed your bunny unlimited Timothy Hay all day. A handful of greens in the morning and just a small amount of pellets in the evening.
So when do you take your dogs out walking ?
During the week they go for walks usually in the evenings and different times on the weekends. Some weekends we take them in the car and go to parks for the day or just walk around our neighborhood
I have a question, I rescued a budgie and got him a new friend. But the rescued one doesn't like the dark, so I have a nightlight but I can't cover their cage or else the rescued one panics. Is it okay that they are not covered?
Hi, they don't require to be covered, however it's best that they are in a room that is quiet and on the darker side. A night light is great!
@Love of Pets thank you so much for answering me. I've never owed birds so I'm watching your videos and doing other research. The rescued budgie I found him on the street on my way to work and looked for the owner but no-one claimed him, so I have him now. I don't know what his situation was before but I am trying my best. I just can't seem to get them to eat vegetables or fruits 😔
Is it not better to prepare the dog food stations first and then let them enter the room? The order you put food in front of the dogs is also their rank in hierarchy.
I have never had a problem. Been feeding like this for years. They wait until the bowls are down to eat.
@@Loveofpets i don't know about dogs that much but know that the feeding order can matter with some budgies. Always had budgies in my life. The female budgie i have now is really dominant and the feeding order here matters noticeably.
It can matter with different animals especially if they are food aggressive.
@@Loveofpets if I feed the male budgie first, she really bullies him in return and is noticeably jealous. I wonder what the right thing is to do. Focus on the dominant female and keep the male in a submissive position or as the owner elevate the male?
My dogs go crazy over my bird show so you train your dogs not to bother your birds
I am happy that my dogs don't bother with my birds, however my newest pup is bring trained to leave them alone.

No he doesn't live in a crate. He eats and sleeps in a crate. He is being potty trained. He would eliminate all over the house and chew everything if he had too much freedom in the house. He is trained now and out of the crate most of the day. If I showed 16 hours of this day you would see him out of the crate more often. I just showed key moments
