I would love to set up a similar business here in Australia 💕 our choice for products here is much more limited than the uk/us and shipping is very expensive. I’d love to help Australian rodent owners have better access to better products for their animals ! (myself included lol)

Can you maybe try doing store updates once or twice a year? It would be nice to see your pets interact with the items and it would also be nice to see how big the items actually are

Have you thought of doing some sort of monthly subscription box with rat toys/supplies?
I used to do that years ago but it was too much work coming up with what items to put in every month!
23 degrees outside in the UK = hot
23 degrees outside in Australia = freezing
23 degrees outside is about 26 / 27 in the house with no escaping it because we have no air conditioning
I'm curious how much profit you made from those orders- I had no idea it cost so much to ship them!
Just a question can rats get phorphin from other things like I went to see my rat in the morning and fill up there food and water and lots of things had been knocked over in there cage and my rat had lots of phorphin on his nose but I have not held him to stress him out? 🐀🐀

I'm looking in to getting rats do that need a wheel or not
Everyone’s opinion is generally different but you don’t necessarily need one! If you do get one, make sure it’s the correct size. 14 inches for female rats and 16 inches for male. Make sure their backs aren’t curved while running on them! If you don’t give them a wheel just make sure to have plenty of other enrichment for them!
May I ask how you make money for doing the boxes of stuff? Once you have brought it all how do you make the money from it? I don't understand
Wholesalers sell it all at a lower price because you buy it in bulk, and then you sell it for a higher markup which is the recommended retail price :)
Hey I really need help socializing my female pair of dumbo rats. I have tried many things on the internet to get them used to me but nothing has worked!!!
If you’ve tried a lot of the tips online it may just be their personality unfortunately!
It’s more like there scared of me and I don’t know how to gain there trust
Opening and closing there cadge is kinda loud and I have to pick them up to clean how can I do that better??? I don’t really know
@@rattysims1950 Just try to sit in front of their cage every day, talk to them, put your arm into the cage and let them get used to your scent and your movements and all the normal sounds and noises in your home, try offering some snacks, try a bonding pouch and ... just give them time! Some rats will never really enjoy interacting with humans too much while others really like it. They all have different personalities. Usually it's also better to keep rats in groups (of 3, 4 or more) than in pairs. Last year I got two really shy brothers from a shelter but when they saw their cage mates interact with me all the time, it helped them relax and become more outgoing and curious as well. After a few weeks it was no problem anymore. :)

How did you start ???
Hi Emi. I have 2 female mice's. One of them has respiratory infection because i was using the dusty bedding. I do have a antibiotic for her that me and my family used to use. I give my mice's a tiny bit of yogurt as a snack everyday to give them. Could i crush the antibiotics to make a powder and add it to her and give her 3 times a day for 5 days straight or more? Or should I just change the bedding and she could self-cure herself. Please could u make s video answering my question or something. I can't afford to take her to the vet. Hopefully i will get your answer. I love your videos 💕
Is it a human anti biotic? I wouldn’t be giving it to the mouse, you won’t be able to know that she’s getting the right dosage based on the concentration and her weight, that’s something that only a vet can advise on unfortunately!
@@Emiology Yes. But I've read online that this type of antibiotic could be used to them. Also I saw another video on RUclips saying that for this antibiotic should be taken like 3 times a day for 5 days or more. But I would still need your advice because I don't want to harm her and you know better. Some people said that they can self-cure but i don't think that's true. Thank you for replying back 💕
@@shahddxxas_ Unfortunately I'm not qualified to give medical advise on dosages as I'm not a vet, but it is not something that I would be risking or advising people to do. If the dusty bedding was a trigger, hopefully changing it and removing what is causing her symptoms will help or completely clear up how she is feeling, but if it continues after that she will need animal specific anti-biotics :)

I didn’t really need to spend anything on marketing as I’d already built up a following on here and that’s my customer base 😊

Mostly just their regular food, malt paste, pasta, treats from my store that I have left over :)

Trying my best 🙂 unfortunately a lot of eco friendly options are double the price which isn’t helpful for small businesses

I have an irrational fear that you won't keep your business open till I get my own rat babies (which could be any age ) in 6-12 months or so. Please tell me I'm wrong 😁.
